Maybe it counts a certain number of characters as a word . . . like, six charries, rather than counting something with spaces around it as a word. xD Cus I know for a fact that my word processor just counts whatever has a space around it as a word. And I'm pretty sure WriteorDie does too.

Get this, though. The Nano wordcount is like a thousand higher than the normal one for me, now. xDD

That's not behind. Yesterday's universal goal was 8333.

I have 60k right now. And in real, too. I use openoffice, and the counts are /identical/, so I don't know what is going wrong.

Aw, don't worry! You can always make up a lot on weekends. Even if you're gone this weekend, try and write a ton next weekend.

I found out that to get to my goal I have to write 1,285.7143 words per day. xD Well, 1,285 words. xD

xD I love how it has .7143 at the end.

Actually, if you round the tenth, then it becomes 1,286!

I'm a little past 25K, and currently, my MC is going to be put on trial for leading a group of Hunting Tribe Hunters into the elven realm.

If they ever made it a movie, I'd want Howard Shore to make the music. He's the best.

But then I want some modern stuff too, like Green Grass and High Tides.

“Oh, they even have a section for Flint’s stuff!” Falcon squealed. “I can summon him any kind of stick he needs, from a club to a crowbar to a shower curtain rod to well, a stick!” She said, holding up a twig.
“A… twig?” Olivia asked. “Why a twig?”
“Flint loves twigs. I don’t know why.” Falcon said. “But I heard him and his writing buddies talking about how much they love them.”
“That’s interesting and slightly disturbing.” Olivia said.
