I stayed up really late last night, trying to reach the NaNo word goal. And then my stupid slow laptop got stuck and I had to restart it and I lost like a whole page. This is why I need a new laptop. Which is why... My parents are giving me my graduation present early! We're probably going to go to the Apple store tomorrow.
I woke up on time today. And then I somehow managed to get an extra half hour of free time after breakfast. *woot* But then I stayed on a little late because I saw that the Vampire Wig on WW was going to be in the Curio Shop at eight and I wanted to get it. And then it wasn't there. I didn't figure out until I got home again that it was 8 PM. *facepalm* I feel so stupid. XD
In homeroom we did something somewhat interesting but I'm blanking on what. XD
In Math we had a sub so we did a practice of the math contest in like February or something. I got 29/40, and it's really hard, so that's actually pretty good. I won the contest with that score in sixth grade.
In Jewish Studies a guy from some Jewish summer camp came and talked to us.
PE was actually pretty awesome today. Coach wasn't there, so the kindergarten PE teacher subbed, and she is AWESOME. First we played on the play structure, and there are these little spinny things, so people were spinning each other and then pushing them over while they were dizzy, it was hilarious to watch. XD We went for a walk, and Kim (the teacher) actually tried to ding-dong-ditch our old music teacher's house. XD But no one was there. I suggested going up to a random house, ringing the doorbell, and then when they opened the door all 18 of us would yell "Trick or treat!" But she said no. Then we went to the little yard to play with the little kids for the last ten minutes of class, and one kid was riding around on one of the tricycles, trying to run into us and yelling, "Stop intruding! Stop intruding!" It was so funny. Ooh, and Kai's mom, who's a sub for the younger grades' teachers, challenged Ben to do some puzzle and he was just staring at it because he had no idea what to do. XD
Lunchtime I went to yearbook.
Activity period was more yearbook.
Half the grade thought we had Hebrew next, the other half thought we had Science and Humanities (depending on your class), and so we were all running around yelling at each other that they were wrong and you have to go to this class. It was really funny. XD But when I went to the Science room, the sixth graders were already there, so that proved it. Oh well. XD Mirav gave us these amazing brownies while we kept working on our tests. I swear, I would be willing to take those tests every day if she gave us those brownies. Except at one point yesterday I spent like 10 minutes on a nice, long ending to the story, until I realized that the question was asking what I learned from it. *facepalm*
Science we had a sub (yes, again) and we did current events, but the sub is terrible at controlling us (believe me, he tried it during current events last year, too. Fail. ) so we kinda didn't do all that much. XD
During recess I was frantically studying for the vocab quiz, because I totally forgot to last night. Oh, and Ben tried to make Allison eat her hand. Something is seriously wrong with that boy. XD
Double Humanities we had two quizzes, went over HW, and then talked about To Kill a Mockingbird for the rest of the time.
My dad actually wasn't late today! Amazingly, he got there even before they closed the gates! Whoo! So I went home, got on the comp, went to fencing.
First thought in fencing club: Oh. No. Kaila's back.
Kaila used to be in my class at school, but she left after second grade. Then when I joined the fencing club in fifth grade, she was there too, and she was always teasing me. XP She left last year, I don't know why, but now she's back. o.0 She's not so bad anymore, though. I think she's grown up a little.
Anyway... we had to run 10 laps (XP), stretched, and then we did stations. Eeeeeeevil... o.0 And we did it TWICE, once non-footwork, once footwork. XP Then we suited up, and did drills until there was only 15 minutes of class left, fenced for FIVE MINUTES, and played dodgeball for the rest of class.
And then my dad made up for his earliness at school by being 20 minutes late. XP

We're gonna try to get to the store right as it opens so we don't have to wait for a free technician to upgrade the memory.
I doubt it. It seems interesting because I comment on random little things that happen, but it's mostly boring. XD
