I took a running start, jumping off the cliff face and expanding my wings. I caught a current quickly, soaring higher and carefully aiming towards where I knew the cave was.
When we got there, the entire flock was pretty much confused about why Amanda wasn't here. "Uhm..."

I began explaining what happened to Amanda, and I watched as Angel's face fell. "Are we gonna get her back?" She asked, and I nodded. "Yep. But we're all going to have to help. She's underwater." Angel started crying as she crawled on to my lap. "Shhh."

-----Chuckling, Shadow nodded, then stepped the rest of the way into the barn. I wonder if anyone else will show up early. Maybe they all will! Then we can start early. That would be cool. Cus I don't really wanna wait . . . To give herself something to do, she started wandering around the barn, looking for anything interesting.

((xD Haha, and they don't even react to the dragon girl.))

-----Kayla watched them with slight bewilderment, suddenly wondering who exactly everyone was. Not like their names, but . . . collectively. How did they know each other? What were their stories? And how exactly had she got herself sucked into this whole mess?

-----Kayla laughed quietly. Smooth, dude, smooth. "I'm Kayla," she told them. "And . . . yeah. I can turn into a dragon, as you saw. So I'll help."

-----Shadow decided to follow Cassie around, watching the animals with delight. Being a shapeshifter, she of course loved animals immensely. She could watch them for hours and never be bored, even if they were just lazing around.
