((Hmm . . . maybe he found something else out about the books? xD Um. Maybe Crayak and the Ellimist didn't have anything to do with them after all. It was just like a magical coincidence thingy that K. A. Applegate wrote them so exactly about their lives.

(Yep, that's her. But Amanda and I have a plot going about how the world got started and why so many of them have books about them. xD So that wouldn't really work. I think it'll just be a regular meeting.)

[J] "This has been going on too long," I replied, looking around at them. "We need to come up with a plan to stop the Yeerks for good, not just whatever they happen to be doing at the moment."
"I thought the plan was to hold them off until the Andalites got here," Annie said.
"It was. But what if they don't get here? What if they just keep putting it off? Eventually something is going to go wrong, and one - or all - of us will be killed. We have to do something."

-----As serious as it was, Shadow couldn't help but revel in the feeling that this would make a great movie. This moment definitely had plot. She let the delight fade, though, donning a serious expression as she listened to Jake.
-----"I'm with you," she told him, raising a fist in the air. "Whatever you guys do, I'm in it until the end."

-----Shadow remained quiet now, but she was suddenly feeling a little uneasy. Cassie was right. Was this how things had been getting near the end of the series? She couldn't even remember anymore. Suddenly she wished she'd had a chance to reread those books before her library lost half of them, or whatever happened.

"I know it'd be kinda hard . . . but what if we found a way to get rid of all their little kandrona hideouts all over the world?" It was possibly the least effective method she could've thought of, but it was all she could see as even remotely possible.

-----Pursing her lips, Shadow nodded, and silently began to ponder some more. Man, if only I could remember what I'd been thinking of on the way here . . . doubt it was anything that'd kill them effectively, but maybe it'd do something.

[M] We were all quiet as we thought. I glanced at Annie; her forehead was furrowed in concentration as she tried to think of something. I didn't want to break her train of thought but I couldn't help lacing my fingers a little more firmly through hers. Jake was right; who knew who would or wouldn't survive the next battle?

-----Finally, Shadow had a new idea. "Space slugs," she said matter-of-factly, nodding. "Not like Yeerks - big ones! All we have to do is find them and convince them to help us, and they can go around and kill all the Yeerks!" It wasn't really clear whether she was serious or not.

We were all silent for a moment, staring at her, and then I cracked up. Soon the others joined in, except for Ax, who still didn't seem to have a sense of humor.
