Cold and rainy yet again today. XP
I woke up like ten minutes early, so I had a little time on the computer before school.
Math was more of yesterday's assignment. We also got our quizzes back. 91%.
In Jewish Studies we had a local storyteller come and tell a story about luck and wisdom. But to the little kids he told the Hanukkah story, which I think is better. -shrug- Oh well, I've heard it probably about twenty five times before. XD And I have it on my computer anyway.
In PE we did a really stupid basketball drill and then spent the last 25 minutes of the 40 minute period shooting baskets. Ugh. I spent like five minutes hiding in the bathroom, then got really bored and came back out. XD
At lunch, not only did I remember to go to yearbook, I remembered to bring my camera and my dad's card reader to school. Then some kids were talking about what articles they'd brought for current events, and I'm like... Current events? Crap. o.0 Luckily we were in the computer lab and Elizabeth was really nice about it, so I did it during yearbook. Then during activity period she offered a chocolate bar to whoever could get a good picture of the librarian with her eyes open, so when she sent out the camera groups (me and Talia were one, Maya and Dorianna the other) we were all racing to the library. XD The problem with having more than one camera out at a time is that you'll go into a classroom and ask to take pictures and they'll say someone was already there. Oh, and at the beginning, there was this convo:
Elizabeth: Where's Aaron?
Erin: I'm right here.
Elizabeth: No, Aaron [last name]. *looks down at person sitting in front of her* Oh, there you are.
In Hebrew we talked about elephants. And why they have big ears.
In Science we did current events. Someone brought a really freaky article about this parasite that eats out the tongue of a fish and attaches itself to the place where the tongue used to be and like suck the blood or something. o.0
Recess I read.
In double Humanities we first did a vocab quiz, then a spelling quiz. During the spelling quiz, Ariel got confused with his numbering. Turns out he numbered it "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 10..." Ah, Ariel. Speaking of Ariel, a couple days ago before morning assembly, he was about to take a drink from his water bottle at the same time that he was about to sit down on a chair, and then, not knowing (I think), Erin took the chair away and sat down, and Ariel fell down and splashed water all over himself. It was SO hilarious. XD Anyway, back to Humanities, then we graded the quizzes (I got 29/30 and 25/25 ), and then we did extra credit questions on the current events magazine. I didn't know we supposed to have it, so I left mine at home and had to share Rose's. XP But then the office gave a tray of donut holes to every class in the school! Yum!
Then my dad showed up ten minutes late, then spent ten minutes in the office getting a bunch of random stuff. XP When I finally got into the car, the thermometer said it was 44 degrees outside. 20. Minutes. 44. Degrees.
Brr.
Anyway, then I came home, and my mom came home like ten minutes before I had to start getting ready for fencing and she's like, "Do you want to watch Torchwood?" Yes, I do, but I can't, can I? XD So then I forced her to drive me there instead of my dad doing it just because I felt like it. Also she's a lot more interesting to have conversation with.
I don't really feel like getting into details about fencing... But it wasn't nearly as bad as Wednesday. I only fenced two bouts (lost 5-4 and 5-0 against Nelle and Ben) and no lesson. Still no game, though. Karen said we'd unsuit ten minutes before class ended so we could play something but we didn't. All we got was stupid ultimate frisbee at the beginning of class as a warmup. And we didn't even use a frisbee!
Then I came home. I was gonna count Christmas lights, but I forgot until like two blocks away from my house. -cry- Then me and my mom watched Torchwood until 10, when she went to bed. And it was a cliffhanger ending, too.

Ooo, smooth scores!I got 29/30 and 25/25
Eugh. o.0 Lol, I hate the cold . . . it's been in like the tens for the past two days, and today we're finally up in the thirties. xPthe thermometer said it was 44 degrees outside. 20. Minutes. 44. Degrees.
Re: :: Ratty's randomly rattyful blog :: 12/11/09
It's never gotten that cold here, but last week it was in the low thirties. Except the few times when I've seen snow that's probably the coldest weather I've ever been in.

Only ten minutes. With a five minute passing period.

Oh, well ten minutes is better than nothing -_-
Passing period? That's how long you have to get to the class, right? Well, for me its 4 minutes o.o .

Yeah. Five minutes makes it more even, I guess. All the classes are the same length and still end at a time that ends with a 5 or 0.

Re: :: Ratty's randomly rattyful blog :: 12/11/09
It would be much easier for us if we had even class times ._. It's like, "okay class! This class ends at 9:03 sharp so get out your textbooks!" o.o
Re: :: Ratty's randomly rattyful blog :: 12/11/09
You don't have specific times?

Like... your classes just end whenever? Cuz you said you don't have class times.

I said even times . Instead of a class ending at (example) 9:00, it ends at 9:03.
Re: :: Ratty's randomly rattyful blog :: 12/11/09
Ohh. I somehow read "even had class times." Got it.
