The Twilight Saga; Chapter 3; Something Is Stirring

Cassandra remained perfectly still for a few moments, but after recollecting herself, she let her eyes drift shut again as she kissed him back; just as she had before. She loosely wrapped her arms around his neck, for once grateful that he had locked the door after he entered.

Jasper watched her curiously, one eyebrow raised. But he decided not to disturb her; she needed the rest.

Hailey giggled at the sight, the lamp on the nightstand flickering slightly.

Hayden and toby watched from the stairwell. Hayden stood up, "With all do respect, miss, I think that it's be a swell idea if y'all laid down for a bit." he advised her politely.

"Look at ol' you being all nice to her, Cowgirl." Teased Toby in his mock accent, although he knew that Hayden did not 'like-like' this girl; he liked someone else.

"Ah, shutup, To-bi-as." Hayden replied, pinning his brother to the ground.

I put my ear to the door and heard the distint sounds of snogging.
"Aro." I walked into the throne room. "They're... snogging!"

My hand rested on my son's shoulder. "You're doing well, Jasper." Amanda sneezed in her sleep, and I chuckled lightly. "Really. You're doing well."
"Let's go talk to Jasper." I decided, grabbing her wrist. [Hehe...this will be fun. Annoying Jasper to no end. ]

"Meh." I teased, but lied down. My head was starting to burn again, and I really did not feel well. I wanted to sleep, but it was only 5:20. Ugh.

(Maryann in room with Amanda. )

"I know." Aro replied, now feeling a bit annoyed with Jane; he felt like she was the tattletale student, and he, the teacher she was telling all of this to. "Leave them be, for now."

Cassandra paused, gently pulling her lips away from his. She soon found that kissing could become an addiction; at this point, she was actually kind of reluctant to pull away from his tempting lips. Still keeping their faces at least an inch apart, her eyes darted to the door. She heard something-- or, thought she had heard something. It wasn't a voice, or a footstep, slip, gasp, or fall-- it was something. Something she couldn't place easily.
"Did you hear that?" She whispered, her eyes darting from the door and back to his own red ones.

Jasper looked up at his father, and his lips twisted into that of a smile, "Thank you." he replied, grinning.
"Okay!" Hailey chirped, obediently following her.

[I ish not in much of a Maryann mood at the mo'... sadly. *sighs*]

Jasper returned with Leach, the house seeming calmer now that Jodi had stopped her screaming and mutterings of prophecies. "Are you alright?" He asked her, lovingly pressing his lips to her forehead.

"Of course." I replied, just as quiet. "Do nothing. Say nothing. Get behind me."

I smiled once and walke dout of the room, letting him and Amanda have some sort of privacy in a room full of vampires.
"Shhh." I whispered, walking down part of the stairs. "HI JASPER!"
I yelled as loud as I could, and jumped off the railing. Turning a flip in midair, I landed perfectly on my feet, an inch from Amanda. "Hiya!" [XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD]

"No. I want to go to sleep, and my head is burning." I sounded way to much like a complaining brat. "I'm sorry I'm complaining so much." I said guiltily. "I don't mean to."

Cassandra obeyed silently, getting behind him like she had been told. She gently wound her fingers through his, for comfort.

Jasper looked up from Amanda, and smiled patiently at Renesmee. "Hello Renesmee." he greeted her calmly, and when Hailey appeared beside her, he nodded in greeting to her as well.

Jasper stroked her hair lovingly, "It's alright, Amanda. Just one more hour, and then you can sleep." he soothed her.

[Hello again. ]

Demetri tilted his head. "Why are you in Cassandra's room?" He asked of Alec, a still polite look on his face. Spotting Cassandra from over his shoulder, he nodded slowly, almost knowingly. "Ahhh..." He chuckled. "I'll leave you two... alone." And he left, closing the door behind him.

Cassandra's body relaxed, and she rested her head on his shoulder. "Why must people always walk in?" She smiled weakly.

Hailey pouted as well, "Aw, okay. We should go bother Emmett!" She suggested, a little mischievous look on her angelic face.

Mort walked down the stairs, "Amanda, Jasper-- woooaaahh, I see I was..." He cleared his throat, "Interrupting on somethin."

I laughed. "They're rude." I pulled her back into the kiss, accidentally leaving the door open.
(OOOH! Cauis is so gonna walk in. xD, I CALL HIM!)

"Not yet." I chuckled, stroking Amanda's hair. "Wait 'till I'm around."
(Sowwy for taking him for a sec... but I thought he would say that. xD)

I rolled over, my face red. "Oh! H-hi Mort." I was blushing so bad. Toby, Hayden, and Leach were one thing- they were teenagers. Adult Mort was a complete different story.

Cassandra kissed him back, her fingers absentmindedly playing with the edges of his hair as she did so. After a few seconds, her intense blue eyes closed, and the whole world seemed shut off from her; as if it didn't matter. "Alec, the door." She whispered against his lips, opening her eyes.

Mort looked like he would have been beet red, too. Mort was a naturally embarrassed person; when he was humans, the littlest of things would make his ears turn red with embarrassment. "Sorry," he repeated.

Hayden and Toby, all the while, were laughing hysterically.

"Doesn't matter." I said, calmly walking in. "I've been watching the snogging for almost five minutes."

(Hmm... I'll have an athsma attack. That'll be something. xD)

My eyes opened slowly, and I blinked once. "Hey Jasper." I stroked right below his eye. And then it started.
I started coughing harshly, not being able to get control of myself. And now I couldn't breathe. I was coughing and sneezing like there was no tomorrow, and there might now be. I continued to couhg and sneeze towards my death.
(There's something to do. xD)

"D-don't worry about it." I whispered, my face still flushed. "Oh, be quiet, will you?" I snapped at the twins, then realized what I said. "Sorry. I think lack of sleep is making me crazy, but that's no excuse." I sighed. One more hour of agony.

Okay, now this was extremely embarrassing. Cassandra had thought that Aro was embarrassment enough; but now that Caius had just walked in... that's a whole other story you have going there. She parted her cold body from Alec's, and quickly composed herself. "I beg pardon, Caius."

Hayden coughed to conceal his snickers, "Don't be sorry, lil' lady, we've gotten a whole load o' worse from Samuel over here." He started to laugh again. He pronounced his name as Sam-mule, with extra emphasis on the 'mule'.

"Aro will want to hear this. He may want you killed." I nodded shortly and walked towards my brother.

"Hayden, vampires don't cough." I accused. "Next time you try and cover something up, think." I giggled.

(MARYANN AND WILLIAM SHOULD GET MARRIED!!!!!!)

Aro held his fingers together, "I have been pondering." He said at last, "On an offer a miss Maryann came to me with, after this ordeal. Said... if I had trouble with you, Cassandra, to send you to her for a few months."

The look on Cassandra's face showed unconcealed horror at Aro's words, and she cowered behind Alec like a frightened little puppy.

"And now I have come to my decision, young, frightened little one."

"Ah, gosh dangit. I must've forgotten." Chuckled Hayden, suddenly appearing on his feet-- for Toby had just recently pinned him to the ground.

I lied my hand on her shoulder, soothing her wild emotion. "And what would that desicion be?"

"Vampires can't forget either." I giggled, waggling my fingers at him. "What do you do, stalk us?" Jasper teased. "No. I read Twilight."

Cassandra was trembling, as Alec could probably now tell. She rested her hand on his; her hand, too, was trembling like a little leaf.

"You will leave with her, and then you will return in a few months' time." Said Aro, a smirk on his face. "But don't fret; you two have one more night with each other. Spend it wisely." And then he left the room, closing the door.

Hayden hissed, almost as if the name Twilight burned him. he rolled around on the floor, "It buuuuurrnnnssss!"

"Suck it up; me a maaaaan." Said Toby, mimicking his accent on the last word.

I looked into her face, the features still beautiful. "We could run away." I whispered. "To that group we found in the forest. We could go there. Escape."

"Um...Jasper?" I asked. "I think I'm better. I feel fine." My voice was still a little rough, but I felt refreshed.

I laughed shortly and checked the clock. 6:21. "Sweet." I lied my head on Jasper's chest ['cause he's lying on the bed.] and closed my eyes, falling asleep within the minute.

Cassandra's lower lip trembled, as if she were going to burst into tears at any moment. She quickly wrapped her thin arms around him in a hug, burying her face into his chest. "You'd do that for me?" She whispered.

Jasper looked down at her, completely relieved. "Very, very good." he said at last, bursting into a smile. He pressed his lips to hers gently, and then pulled back, amazed.

"Heavy sleeper, that one must be." Said Hayden from his spot on the floor, folding his hands on his stomach.

"Of course." I stroked her hair. "Sweetie, I'd do almost anything for you."

His smile was so dazzling I almost started crying. His lips touched mine for only an instant, and I smiled. "Hailey?" I called. "Hailey, sweetie?"

"What do you expect? It's six in the morning, and she's been up all night." I stroked her hair. "Sleep well, sweetie."

(I'll tell you when you can use Jazzy again. xD)

Cassandra smiled very weakly, tilting her head up at him. "I love you, Alec." She whispered, kissing his collarbone lightly, "But I'll only leave if you feel comfortable with leaving, too." She whispered.

Hailey appeared beside Amanda, a bright look on her lovely little face. "You all better now?" She asked.

"Well... we won't have to worry about Jane. Or people watching us...snog."

"We think so." I pulled her into my arms. "Carlisle says I may still have a few symptoms because I was out for so long, but I'm better. Jasper, this means if I sneeze, don't take me to teh hospital." I joked and bounced Hailey. "Hey... you still want to annoy Emmett?" Jasper asked, a grin spreading over his face.

Cassandra giggled shyly at the mention of him and her snogging, hiding her face again. "I'd blush if I could." She whispered, "But are you sure?" She asked him worriedly, stroking the side of his face. She had no idea how she would work out the him hunting humans, and she, well... not hunting humans.

Hailey nodded, clapping her hands. "Yes yes yes, I still wanna annoy him!" She announced, a mischievous little smile spreading across her face.

"Of course. How...oppposed are you to eating animals?"

"Go get Renesmee." I kissed the top of her head and Amanda let her down. I helped Amanda stand, and she brushed my cheek. "I'm glad you're better, sweetheart."

(Huh. Well, Jasper could go off with the twins and Leach and, like, Jodi and I could be in the same room with someone monitering us, but their William/Maryann in disguise, and they could steal us. xD)

Cassandra's heart filled with joy, knowing that he wasn't going to force her again. "I'm not apposed at all." She replied, giving him a light, gentle kiss on the lips. She stroked the side of his face, looking into his eyes. "And you?"

Hailey disappeared up the stepped, "Renesmee!" She called happily.

"I'll do my best."

"Yes?" I wandered downstairs. "Mandy!" I jummped into her arms. "Hey sweetie." Amanda kissed my forehead. "You better?" I asked. Jasper nodded. "Finally." Amand rolled her eyes.
