Jasper pulled me back even farther. "Jasper, please, calm down. She's not going to tear my eyes out..."

I walked upstairs. "Uh, Sally?"

"I do admit, I have often cut myself on accident. But I certainly have not harmed one of my own 'team'." Akane tilted her head at Jasper. "Indeed I will not, young one."

Sally appeared beside her, "Oh dear!" She gasped, "What happened?"

"Told ya so." I teased, squirming out of his grip. "I'm Amanda, by the way. And this is Jasper."

"Uh... Hayden and Toby knocked them down the stairs."
(She should, like, call 'em up and ground them. xD)

Akane smiled, "My name is Akane Chi." She introduced herself, causing the blades to slip back under her skin before holding out her hand.

Sally smacked her forehead. "Hayden and Tobias Ives! Get up here right now, misters!" She was, naturally, an old-fashioned motherly character.

Hayden and Toby stood in front of the two, hands folded behind their backs. They looked like two little boys who had done something very naughty.

"Say sorry."

"Sorry..." The two said in together, although they sounded very sincere.

"And you both are grounded. Until you die."

I shook her hand polietly, ignoring Jasper's protest.

I looked at Jasper, very confused.

Chloe was at home, laying in her bed, fast asleep. Her mom and little brother decided to stay home with her, it being Christmas vacation.

((Awweh. =0 That puppy needs to learn a few things.))

Jacob happened to be bored on that particular day. He hadn't been able to find any of the bad vampires when he patrolled the forest that morning, so now he was left wandering around with nothing to do. Not even school.

So, of course, what could be better than going over to Chloe's house? Grinning to himself, Jacob started heading in that direction. It'd be easier just to show up than go all the way back to his house and call first . . . after all, he'd even be passing her house on the way. So that would just make it weird.

Stephanie's eyes widened a little bit. God will help me . . . gosh, she's right. He would help her. How could I have completely forgotten about him all this time? I should be even closer to Him now than as a human. I can't have lost my soul . . . or did I? She bit her lip, and her eyes became concerned. As much as she may not have been dying any time soon, she still didn't want to lose her soul . . . because that was everything.

[We should just say that they kissed by now. xD]

"Chloe, Chloe!" Sang Christopher as he skipped into his big sister's room. He bounced onto the foot of her bed, and crawled up to her face. "Are you deeeeaaaaddd?" He asked, holding one of her eyes open.

Chloe chuckled, gently swatting his hand away. "No, no, I'm not dead..." She replied with a yawn.

Jasper tilted his head in slight confusion. Was this the 'concussion' talk again? If it was, then Amanda must've made up quite a few more words for it. He shrugged at Alec.

Sally swatted the vampire twins out of the room, "Alright, set them down on the tables..."

(What about Akane?)

I gently lied Cassandra down. "Peanut butter..." Amanda mumbled.
"I thought you might need me." Alyssa laughed. "Flubberdoodle mean Cassandra, and peanut butter means... snogging?"
"Fladrod."
"That means Alec."

Akane smiled kindly at the two, a very old and wise look on her young and lovely face. She had her jet black hair drawn up into a perfect bun, a pair of two chopsticks sticking out of it. "I am looking forward to getting to know the two of you."

Cassandra blushed, despite the aching in her head--which was now being tended to by Sally-- she understood what everyone was saying pretty clearly. "Oh, not again..." She giggled.

"You too." I nodded polietly.

"Cheese pudding..." Amanda moaned, and Jasper immediatly walked over.

"Tobias, Hayden--" Akane was about to say, but her words were cut off. She inclined her head to the stairs. "Leach needs for the two of you to help him with something."

Cassandra propped herself up onto her elbows, "What's wrong with her?" She whispered worriedly, her eyes large.

(Wormeh... your avvie is staring at me...DOES HE HAVE A CAPE?! xD)

"Us?" I asked, very confused.

"Concussion again." And I took Cassandra's cape and gave it to Amanda. [Sorry, I had to! xD]

"Hailey?" I called. "Hailey, sweetheart?"

The doorbell rang. [xD]

Cassandra appeared behind her, a small smile appearing over her features. "I'm right here." She replied.

I answered the doorbell (XD).

I rubbed my head. "Crud. I forgot what I was going to say. But my head hurts. (XD again)"

Hayden and Toby stood at the door, Hayden holding a squirming Hailey. By now, she looked to be at least eight years old or so. "Um, we think that this one's yours, miss." Spoke Hayden, gesturing to Hailey.

"Hi!" Hailey chriped happily.

"Hey sweetie." I lifted Hailey into my arms.
(One of them should think I'm talking to them when I say sweetie... xD)

(What about the other one where they're grounded? xD)

"She's a handful." Toby chuckled, watching as Hailey slid down from Amanda's arms and hid behind her legs, giggling. "She had Hayden chasing her all the way to the edge of the forest."

[Que? xD]

I giggled. "Wait... aren't you grounded? Until you die? Because you gave me a concussion?" Jasper lied his hands on my shoulders.

Hayden and Toby paused, looked at each other, and a shocked sort of look passed over their faces. "Oh..." Toby's voice trailed away, and Hayden finished his phrase for him;
