Hailey was holding a squirming little bunny in her hands, looking at it with a pitying sort of face. She shied away from it slightly. "But Jaspy! I don't want to eat the bunny..." Of course she was thirsty, but really-- would a little girl want to eat a bunny?
No, I didn't think so.

"Hailey, I'm sorry." I whispered, stroking her hair. I wished Amanda was here. SHe was better with Hailey, knew how to handle her. But Amanda couldn't hunt with me, for obvoius reasons. "Do you want to find something else?"

I woke up yawning. "Jasper? Hailey?" I called. "Hayden? Toby?"

(You get to play them all! xD)

Hailey nodded, "Mm-hm." She replied, releasing the little creature and watching as it disappeared into the trees as quickly as it could have possibly gone. Despite Carlisle's persuasions, she just wouldn't kill an animal for its blood. She had been hunting with everyone; Bella, Edward, pretty much the entire family. Carlisle thought it to be a good idea to let Jasper take her this time around.

"We're--"
"Here!" Came Hayden and Toby's voices. The two were currently play-wrestling with Hailey-- and she was winning. But of course, the two were probably letting her win; she being only a little half-vampire.

Jasper appeared beside Amanda, "Did you sleep well?" He asked.

Hailey followed obediently, her large, emerald green eyes taking in the entire scenes that they were passing by. Occasionally she would stop Jasper to ask him what this and that was-- but of course she never strayed too far from where they were headed. "How old are ya?" She asked him curiously.

Jasper raised an eyebrow at her, "Must've been an interesting dream, then." He chuckled.

"Amanda, what's snogging?" Hailey asked.

Hailey gasped, "Woah, you're old!" Of course she didn't mean this to offend him; she was still at that age when she didn't know that some of her words may or may not have an extra--and maybe slightly offending-- meaning to them. "I'm three, but Carlisle said I look eight." She said, wriggling around in his arms until she found herself comfortable.

Jasper chuckled.

"Um, well, Hailey--"

"It's just kissing." Toby finished for Hayden, before he would say too much information that would probably scar the young one for life.

I chuckled. "Carlisle's older, sweetheart." I brushed her forehead with my lips.

I brushed my teeth and walked back into the room. "I'm getting dressed. Out." I demanded, giggling and pointing to the door.

Hailey giggled, "Then he's oooolllddd!" She exclaimed, her emerald eyes large with curiosity. She wriggled around in his arms, giggling when he kissed her forehead. "Cold!" She giggled, again she stopped her wriggling once she became comfortable again.

"Out, out, out, oooouuuttt!" Sang Hailey, playfully pushing the three boys out of the room. She had some trouble, though, them being a lot taller than her. She was only a good four-feet tall at this point. But, eventually, she got them out.

I chuckled. "Here, sweetie." I set her down carefully, and not on her head.

"You too, sweetie." I lifted her and put her outside my room, closing my door.
After getting into a Aeropostale sweatsuit [they're REALLY comfy, I'm wearing one now. xD], I opened the door and lifted Hailey up again.

When Hailey felt her feet make contact with the ground again, she looked around. Seeing a few bunnies scamper off into a bunch of trees, she winced slightly. She was thirsty, and really, what could she do at this point? "Alright." She sighed in defeat. "I'll go eat the bunnies." And she disappeared. [xD]

Hailey didn't wriggle this time when Amanda picked her up. She yawned slightly, and rubbed her eyes.

"I'm guessin' her roughhousin with us made her a little tired." Hayden figured, shrugging.

Ugh! There's more of you! Fantastic. I'm leaving. She let her mind clear of thoughts as she phased back into human form, picking up her clothes and heading back toward the house, but not before seeing the giant wolf.

After a few minutes, Hailey returned, wiping some blood from her lips. She watched Jasper as he attacked the lion, and her head tilted. "Lions can go in trees?" She asked him curiously once she was sure he had finished killing the creature.

"Quite a handful, isn't she?" Hayden chuckled.

Hailey rubbed her eyes a little. In the process of her 'bunny hunting' one of the little buggers has scratched the side of her face. But now it was closing up, like all of her little wounds did. "We're going back to the house now, right?"

"And we gotta scram-- Sal's gettin home in 'bout thirty minutes or so." Hayden informed the two, glancing down at an invisible watch he had on his wrist.

Hailey smiled, and nestled herself in his arms in a more comfortable way. After a while, she closed her eyes, looking pretty close to falling asleep.

"The two'll be glad to see ya." Hayden informed them, nodding. He smiled, "We're all just waitin' for Leach to kiss Jodi already."
