"I'm already done with my work." Maryann replied, staring ahead of her. The corner of her mouth pulled up, and she pointed at the little television set in the corner of the room. "Turn it on."

"A half." Aro corrected her, gently pressing his fingertips together.

Hailey lifted her head, and catching sight of the two, she squeaked.

Hayden grinned, "Sis-sis!" He repeated in the same tone she was using, and he swung her around, giving her little kisses on her forehead and the tip of her nose.

The little set flickered to life as I rolled my eyes.

"What is it, sweethe- oh." Amanda stood up. "Aro. Jane." She smiled.

"Whee! Where's Ashy?!" The little girl asked, hugging Toby's legs. "Toby!"

"Eight bodies found dead in a sewer, hearts cut clean from their chest. Victim's bodies showed no sign of struggle... Do we have a mass murderer running through Forks right now?" Came the voice of the newscaster.

"My job for the day is done." Maryann repeated.

Hailey hid behind Jasper's legs, and kept her hand locked with Amanda's. Clearly she was frightened of the two newcomers.

"Oh, little one, we mean no harm." Aro soothed her, although every word was a lie.

"Oh, um..." Toby trailed off, picking up the little girl in his pale arms.

"He went on a vacation with Jesus." Hayden finished, saying these words in the most gentle way he could possibly manage at this point.

"What do you want, Aro?" I asked, my voice shaking. Jasper put a calming hand on my shoulder.

"Who's Jesus? Is it him? Where's Ashy?!" She pointed to Leach when she said 'him'. "Bring Ashy back!"

"Relax, Elaine." Maryann persuaded, "Let go for once. We'll get those little twirps, you just wait and see." She seemed pretty calm about this, "How many of them know how to kill?" She asked rhetorically.

"Oh, we're not here to harm any of you..." Aro lied, shaking his head. "We were just here on hunting business. Right, Jane?"

"Lilly, I'm Leach; not Jesus." Leach tilted his head, raising one eyebrow questioningly at the little girl.

"Ashy's in heaven, sweetheart." Hayden whispered, stroking the little one's hair.

"Well, go to Heaven and bring Ashy back!" Lily crossed her arms. "I want Ashy!"

"It was a rhetorical question." Maryann sighed, raising one eyebrow at the television set. "Humans." She spat.

"And leave we shall," Aro replied, bowing slightly. "But we will return." And with that he turned, and disappeared.

Hayden saw no other way to explain this to Lily, so he told her, in a voice as gentle as he could possibly manage, "Sweetheart, Ashy's dead."

The room fell silent.

Personality: She loves the outdoors a lot, and explores them nearly every day. She built a treehouse in the woods, and reads there about anything related to nature. She loves birds, bees, plants, the whole deal. Emerald is a optimist, and very willing to learn and teach.
Soulmate: Not yet.
History: She was in her treehouse reading when a bad vampire (We'll choose later. xD) was hunting and bit her. However, a Group vampire pushed them off and saved her. She's lived in the Group ever since.
Age: 17; 47
Power: Nature

"First thing's first, in my opinion-- we won't be able to touch those little brats with Leach, and the Beline twins on their side. Leach disables powers, the Beline's can produce a forcefield resistant to physical and mental attacks." Maryann informed her, picking at the blood from under her nails.

Hailey closed her eyes lightly, "I wanna protect peoples too, Jaspy!" She exclaimed, clapping her hands.

Hayden and Toby wrapped their arms around her in a comforting way. Sure, they had arrived already trying to mess with each other-- but that doesn't mean they were never sad. Of course they grieved their brother's death; they missed him. "He's happy now, Lily."

Maryann bit on one of her nails absentmindedly, "It'll be easy if we get Adele first. She can only block mental-- but it'll probably be harder to take Abriele."

Hailey grinned, showing the tips of her little half-vampire fangs. "Yay!" She exclaimed happily, hugging Amanda and Jasper. "I'm going to protect you--" She kissed the top of Amanda's head when she said 'you', "--and I'm gonna protect you, too!" And she kissed the top of Jasper's head when she said 'too'.

"Yes, and he'll be looking down on us." Hayden explained, gently stroking Lily's hair in a comforting way.

Sally returned from the kitchen, dragging Hayden [she had him by the ear] along with her. She calmly released the edge of his ear, and returned to her place beside John.

"Ow!" Hayden mouthed, rubbing his ear.

Christopher dragged Jacob inside, and closed the door behind him. "Nope. Me and momma were awake for a loooong time, but Chloe's still sleepin. I just woke her up, I think..." He smiled guiltily.

"Oh, I see . . . well, could I go see her then, if she's awake?" he asked, trying to sound casual about it. That was fairly hard, though, as he was suddenly fighting against a huge smile. Hopefully Chris wasnt very observant, or didn't have any clue why he was smiling.

Species: werewolf
Looks: Generally slouching, and tannish with long golden hair to her waist, and a bright blue streak in it that matches her eyes. Likes to wear cargo pants and t-shirts with skateboard shoes. As a wolf, has shaggy golden fur and a blue left foreleg.
Personality: She's a sensitive person who just longs to be loved, but keeps this inside and instead gives everyone a show of having little to no emotions. She thinks more wolfishly than your average person, too. This makes her feel like she's some sort of monster, and she doesn't know there's other werewolves.
Soulmate: Might be David, but I'm not sure yet who his is. xD
History: Nobody ever liked her much.

Character Name: David Ryser
Species: human
Looks: Tallish and fairly well muscled, and about as tan as a werewolf. Has bright white teeth, conflicting with his dark brown hair and eyes.
Personality: Goofs off a lot, but when it all comes down to it, he's really sweet . . . and, he quite loves girls.
Soulmate: either Lyssa or Stephanie . . . xD

Christopher--lucky for Jakey-- is a very observant little boy. He noticed this, and stared up at him weirdly. He tilted his head, looking as if he were in thought. But finally, he pulled himself out of his little trance, and he nodded. "Okai!" He replied, running down the hallway quickly. "Come come!" He called after him.

Maryann nodded, "Yes. And she can't block mental attacks, so all we'd really need is for William to use his power to knock her out, no?" She suggested.

Jasper gently stroked the side of her face, "Sh..." he murmured, drawing her close, "He's not going to do anything. He has no business here, anyways." He tried to soothe.

"Yes, he is." Hayden and Toby replied simultaneously, nodding. "And maybe we'll get to see him again one day."

"We'll take him in a physical attack?" Suggested Maryann.

"That would be a foolish idea, Maryann." Came William's voice from the door. "Of course I dislike this children, but that does not mean I underestimate them. Have you seen Leach fighting? Of course you haven't." he answered this question for her. "This boy fought in Maria's vampire army. They used him to kill newborns, Maryann- newborns." He slid a hand over his face, "He had the scars for a reason."

"Because he's stuuuupid!" Came Hailey's voice. She was now sitting up in bed, her bangs hanging in front of her eyes. She wouldn't admit it, but she had a nightmare.

Hayden knelt down so he was at her level, "Lily, I'd like you to meet Jasper, Amanda, and Hailey." He introduced, pointing to the person the name corresponded to.

Species: Vampire
Looks: He is rarely ever seen, but he always wears black. He has pitch black hair and bright red eyes, and pale skin, obviously. He's tall and lean, and is usually glaring, though you wouldn't know it.
Personality: Loves to torture anyone, and is very inquisitive. Thinks about how to destroy the Group, but, more importantly, he wants to torture them out of their wits. Particually wants Jasper and Leach. Is rarely ever seen, but is very cunning.
Soulmate: Nope. MIGHT be Elaine later.
History: He fought along Jasper in the Newborn Elimination thing, but they were vaugley enimies. Jasper did not agree with the way Gregory tortured the young ones.
Age: 22; 153
Power: Torture
