The Twilight Saga; Chapter 3; Something Is Stirring

"What about Toby going to where Ashy is?" Hayden asked curiously.

[*is still confused*]

"I got mad at Ashy, and I never told him I'm sowwy. Now he's dead and I didn't tell him I'm sowwy. I didn't want Toby to die either." I hugged Toby hard [to a six year old at least. xD]. "I don't want you to die, Toby."

[They get jaspy, and use him to almost kill Leach, and he almost succeeds because that brings back bad memories from Maria's army; Jaspy almost killed him when he was a newborn, but Leachie fought back, and so they decided to keeps him?]

Toby picked her up, and planted little kisses on the top of her head affectionately. "Aw, Lils. I'm sure he forgave you. You know he loves ypu."

[Yes. XD]

"Jasper was disposing of the newborns, Leach included. This time was harder for him; he hadn't hunted in a few weeks and Leach was draining his powers. He didn't know what any of them were thinking. He got to Leach, and he fought very hard. Many of Jasper's scars came from that one fight. But Leach won, and Jasper was hurt badly. Leach helped him return to his old strength, and that's when Jasper realized not all vampires were monsters. He left Leach soon after. By fighting Leach, it will bring back that memory." I smiled sinisterly.

"But he doesn't know I said sowwy." I lied my head on his shoulder. "And I am. He pwobably hates me." [Six year old accents are fun. xD]

[Flashback time!]

Leach was being held in a little cell-type thing. They hadn't let him feed in a week, and he was becoming very thirsty. He hadn't seen the light for a longer time. His bald head was covered by a patched up hat, and his clothes were the same-- patched here and there. He wore slightly big brown pants, with a gray wool long sleeved shirt. On his feet, he wore a pair of black shoes. You could tell him apart from the rest of the newborns, because of his eyes...
they were still a bright blue, just like his mother's.

"Ashy would never hate anyone, sweetie. You know he loves you; you don't have to say sorry, he knows now." Hayden soothed.

[How do I respond to that? xD]

"He does?" Lily asked, her eyes wide and curious. "Yes, sweetheart." I walked over to the little vampire. "Yes, he does."
"Human....pwetty human..." The human girl lifted me gently from my brother's arms. I lied my head by her neck as I had done with my brothers... and bit. Twice. Three times. Quickly.
"Ouch!" I put Lily down quickly. "Lily, you don't do that! No!" An then realized what I was saying to a six year old. "I'm really sorry, Lily, Toby, Hayden." Jasper moved my hair from my neck. "Uh... Amanda? Are you feeling all right?" He asked. "Why?"
"Because Lily bit you three times."

[Jaspy comes so he can kill him, when he enters, I guess I'll just make the RP last longer by Leachie asking Jasper what's going to happen, Jasper replies, yada yada, the two fight, Jasper's hurt, and Leachie helps him. ]

All of the vampires under my control in the room backed off immediately, seeing the blood. Hayden snatched up Lily, and he, too, retracted along with the rest.

Leach stumbles along beside him, a frightened look on his face as his eyes take in the fire pit. The flames reflected over his eyes, and he looked just downright startled. The young boy looked up at Jasper, a confused and frightful look on his face. "What're you gonna do to me, sir?" He asked him. He was a skinny thing; standing only at about 5"8. Seeing what Jasper was telling him to do, he shook his head. "N-No."

Leach was already in the corner of the room, his back pressed far against the wall. "Your powers should be working now!" He called back.

Samuel shakes his head, one hand holding his hat down. "You're suffering, Jasper." He whispered, his piercing "I-can-see-right-through-your-soul' blue eyes looking at his face. He seemed to be reading him like a book. He glanced around-- there was the creek, and then the forest. If he could just...
He kept his hand on his hat [holding it down so it wouldn't fall off] and then he took off. He jumped over the creek, and disappeared into the trees. He knew their duel would be there; a fight with Jasper was inevitable at this point.

Toby glanced down at Amanda, and then at Jasper. "I'll try, Jasper. Trust me, I will." He clasped his hand, and then began to suck the venom from Amanda's body. Surprisingly, his thirst did not overtake him; he had been hunting that very morning.

Jasper follows the newborn vampire, having done this before. But he has never been this weak before. He winces as the cool night air whistles down his throat, burning the edges. "Leach, please!" He begs for mercy, his thirst feeling as if it is about to kill him. He coughs harshly, which doesn't improve his situation. "I've done this before, Samuel." He threatens, but it comes out weak and pitiful.

Amanda's eyes fluttered slightly and blinked twice, but stayed closed. "Toby, you can stop now." My voice was calm now, and I looked carefully at Amanda. "Amanda? What are you feeling, right now?" Her eyes opened, and I gasped. Her eyes are not the blue-green they were, but they are not red either. They are changing, pulsing from brightest blue to dark purple. "Amanda?" I asked. "Toby."
I turned slowly to him. "You saved my life, Toby." I smiled slightly. "Thank you. Not many people could have done that, Toby. You are one of a kind." And, not caring about the many people that surrounded me, I hugged him hard.

(I'm not telling you what she is yet.....xD)

Leach froze in place, his back turned to Jasper. In the process of his running, his hat had fallen off, and he was now knotting it in his hands. He was very nervous. His piercing eyes shot from tree to tree, looking for any possible escape. He kept his guard up, making sure his powers were cutting off Jasper's own powers. "The complexities moving in, and I feel that I do not have the strength-- tragedies plaguing me solemnly, it's affecting my will."

[Hahaha. xD]
[*is on the bleachers with a giant foam finger that reads Go Leach Go!* xD]

"I don't know what happened, Jasper; Honest, I--" But his words were cut off when Amanda hugged him. Awkwardly, he hugged her back, a confused look on his face.

"Leach, I don't want a fight." Jasper whispers, this being the loudest he can get by now. "But I have to do what Maria tells me, for this is apparently the way of a vampire." His voice breaks, and he coughs again. "I don't want to, but I will." He is pleading now. "I'm sorry, Samuel. You seemed like a good one." And he attacks.

"Jasper... my throat is burning." I whispered as I let go of Toby. Jasper's eyes began to glare at Toby. "Jasper, don't blame him!" I said immediatly. "It's not his fault. He tried his best, and I think that's enough." I cough lightly, and he winces. "Old memory." He muttered. I turned to look at everyone else. Jodi, Toby, Jasper, Hailey, John, Sally, Amaya, Leach, Leslie, Catherine, Alec, Cassandra, Akane, Aurelia, Alyssa, Emerald, and finally Hayden. I look them all straight in the eye, knowing not one of them would ever betray another. "What am I?"

[And can Hayden/Toby realize it? *puppy dog face*]

In a flash, Leach turns around. At this point, he was on the defense, constantly blocking Jasper's quick blows. Jasper may be grace and death rolled into one--and even though Samuel hadn't had enough practice-- but Leach had learned. He got his fair share of scars from Jasper that night; but so has Jasper, as Gregory mentioned a few posts back. He now had Jasper pinned, his eyes wide. His breaths were quick and came out in a white mist.

Toby retracted quickly from Jasper's glare, and returned to his twin's side. "I tried, Hayden, I really did--" He whispered, but his constant apologies were cut off.

"Don't worry, Toby. I know ya tried your best." Hayden clapped his brother on the shoulder, and took a step forward. "Half-vampire."

[HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!]

Jasper coughed again, his eyes showing his misery. "Just kill me." He whispers, his voice rougher than ever. "You won, Leach." He is covered in fresh scars from the fight, and looks Leach straight in the eye. "You're a good fighter, my friend. Tell Maria what happened." His voice breaks suddenly, and his eyes close.
An hour later, they open again, and he is still in burning pain. "You didn't kill me?" He asks, confused. "You are one of a kind, Samuel."

"Toby, I know you tried; I trust you on that. I know you would." I hoped he believed me.
I stared at Hayden, dumbfounded. "Wait... but... how would I.. wait... what?!" I was very confused. "Amanda, you're half-vampire." Jasper pulled me into his arms, and suddenly all the feelings in the room became clear. "Jasper... I'm scared. I can feel eveyone's emotions."


{FIRST RP OF 2010! }

Leach smiled, and got off of him. He held out his hand to help Jasper up, the other placing his patched up hat on his head. "I'm sorry I hurt ya so bad, Jasper." He apologized, sounding sincere. "Sometimes a person does stuff they don't mean when they're frightened." He smiled sheepishly. "Come." He says, looking solemn again. "I know someone who can help the burning go away."

Toby, as usual, felt shocked at this, Hayden felt surprised. Hailey felt worried. Everyone [my charries xD] felt these emotions, or somewhat close to them.

{YAYYY!]

Jasper pulls himself upward, still wincing. His throat still burns, and he doesn't have enough strength to forgive Leach. He hopes that he understands, or that he will see Leach again. Jasper continues to cough along the journey, wondering if he will ever have to relive this moment.
He will.

"Amanda Noelle." Jasper whispered. "When did you start feeling everyone else's emotions?" His golden gaze was locked with mine. "Uh... when you hugged me, I think." Jasper smiled. "Hailey, sweetheart, come here and hug Mommy."

[Hehehehehehe..... me haz the awesomest power eva.....]

Leach readjusts his little hat thing [this outfit making him look somewhat like an old raggedy paper boy that you see in those old movies.] He, too, found it hard to forgive someone at the time. And even if Jasper didn't forgive Leach, Leach could still forgive Jasper. He took a breath--sincing slightly as he was reminded of his thirst-- and he called after him, "I forgive you, Jasper." There was a pause, and he added, "And I hope in time you can forgive me."

[Awww. xD]

Hailey skipped over to Amanda, and wrapped her pale arms around her waist.

Leach nodded, feeling very grateful-- but Jasper might not be able to tell that because of his power. He smiled, "Thank you." He responded, appearing at his side. "We wouldn't want that to happen at this point in time." Come to think of it, Leach hadn't fed in weeks. The time they had taken him and locked him away, was the time that they were supposed to go hunting. Leach was also very thirsty; he was glad Jasper could not feel it.

"Don't touch me, then." Came Leach's voice. He was standing in the far corner of the room, back pressed against the wall, and his arms were crossed. Everyone gave him a questioning look. "If she touches me, I fear all of those powers will be useless."

They hunt, and Amanda does not wish to describe Jasper's hunting as it was very gory. Anyway, Jasper's eyes are now a bright red. [xD]

"Wouldn't your power prohibit her from getting it anyway? Her power of stealing powers wouldn't work anyway." Jasper smiled, his hand on my shoulder. "You do need to hunt, though."

Leach had a guilty sort of look plaguing his young face, and he shuddered every now and again. He was pacing up and down, one hand holding his hat down--as it would have fallen off, had he not kept hold of it--. His eyes were even more piercing; but, thankfully, they were not the red that he was seeing amongst Maria's army.

"You can hunt bunnies!" Exclaimed Hailey, grinning. She giggled, causing the lights to flicker.

"Thank you, Samuel." Jasper smiles fondly at the young one, his thirst gone. "You truly are one of a kind."
That night, he leaves with Peter and Charlotte, trying to leave the memory behind. But he can not forget Leach.
He never will.
[The flashback has ended. xD]

"Um." I looked at Jasper, confused, and he winked. "I'll take you to Carlisle. He can help you get... ajusted. But you don't need to hunt yet." He kissed my forehead.
