"Same difference." Jasper chuckled. "Amanda, rest. I don't want you sicker." He kissed my forehead. "I'm fine." I argued, but let it go. I left my hair in a ponytail and closed my eyes.

I sat down beside Leach again, cupping my hand under my chin. My eyes were fluttering closed, but I was forcing them open. There was one thing Leach had forgotten.

Jane appeared, walking towards them. Her eyes slid from Alec, to me. Her eyes scared me; her hatred was only just developing for me. Now that I was beginning to show signs of not wanting to drink human blood, her feelings towards be took a turn for the worst. But, of course, it wasn't like they had been any better. "Alec. Cassandra."

"Shhh." I kissed her forehead again. "Leach won't hurt you when you're sleeping; I'll make sure of that." I heard a distint giggle, and she turned over.
"Jane. I was just taking Cassandra hunting. She accidentally went to far, and we had to swim back. I'm sure Aro wouldn't be surprised; did you not do the same thing?" I raised my eyebrows.

Jane's eyes slid back to Alec, and she gave him a look. The corners of her lips turned down very faintly, "Very well." She replied. "I was sent to see what was taking you too so long. But, seeing that you have returned..."

"It's true." I teased, lying Amanda's head on my lap and pushing her hair away from her face.

Jasper smiled savagely. 'Come here, Amanda.' He grinned wider. 'Come on, Amanda, we won't hurt you.' Leach snarled. 'There's nothing to be scared of.' Toby and Hayden said simotaneously. And I was surrounded.
'Hello Amanda.' The man who had threatened me ages ago was back. 'Jasper, give her to me.' He smiled. Jasper growled and tossed me there. 'She's no good anyway. Waste of my time.' And I began to scream.
"Just follow." I muttered, walking after my sister.

I nodded obediently, following quickly. My footsteps were absolutely quiet as I continued to walk. "Nice clothes." I heard Jane comment with a smirk as she walked.

My eyes flew open and I glared at Jasper and Leach. "How could you? I trusted you!" My eyes filled with tears. "Thanks a lot. Now I know the truth."
"We had to swim." I shrugged. "It's impossible to do without getting wet."

Leach scrunched his eyebrows together, "What?" He asked, looking confused.

I nodded quickly, hiding behind Alec slightly at the piercing look Jane gave me. She turned around again, and walked up some steps. Elevators were not up and running yet, either.

I nodded obediently, following him. I tucked my hair into the hat I had been recently knotting in my hands, feeling a little unsure at myself.

"Traitor?" Leach asked, a hurt look coming back onto his face. "I don't understand, Amanda; what are you talking about? What happened?" He asked.

"You and Gregory! You knew I would never suspect my best friends! All of you! Toby, Hayden, Jasper... why?"

I nodded, smiling at him in thanks. My eyes sparkled faintly, as one could probably see. "Thank you." I whispered, bowing my head a little in thanks.

"Shhh. I'll show you your room." I chuckled and smiled. "Let's go." [HEY! Wanna flashback Amanda's time at the Voultri too?]
"You, Jasper, Hayden, and Toby!" I yelled, exasperated. "I can't believe you would do this to me! I thought y'all [Toby: Y'all? Amanda, you've been hanging out with Cowgirl to much. xD] were my friends! You're a great actor, Leach!"

"We've already gotten you everything you need. You'll wear this outfit every day; see? There are a few here, so people just wash them every day." I pointed to the outfit.
"I was not! I was... what's happening to me?" My voice lowered to a whisper. "What's wrong with me? Why do I keep seeing my best friends betraying me? What's wrong with me?" I repeated.

I nodded, following where his finger was pointing. My outfit was very slightly similar to Jane's, in the length, at least. The fabric was different, however. "Alright." I replied, wringing my fingers with each other.

"I'm thinking about all the wrong things! I'm dreaming about Jasper and Leach handing me over to Gregory! Hayden and Toby and all of you letting me run after them! This isn't normal!" I burst into tears.

I ran into the forest. I couldn't take this. Alice belonged to Jasper, not me. I was getting my hopes up, and now I was hurting people because of it. Benjamin had been right; I was to obsessed.

I looked up at his face, nodding slowly. The red eyes were somewhat familiar; I felt like I had seen them once before. "I've seen you before, haven't I?"

My breathing slowly went back to normal, but the tears kept flowing. I didn't know how I could ever accuse Leach or Toby or Hayden of anything besides making me laugh. "What have I done to myself?"[That sounds so wrong. xD]

I nodded once, but he was already gone. I felt afraid, and terribly confused. A small whimper escaped my lips, and I pressed myself into a corner, curling up a little. Never before had I felt so alone.

Jodi smiled weakly, "Things will unfold. Eventually."

"Forks records." Jane spoke, smiling. "They tell.... a lot, about a person. You'll be coming with me." She ordered, her voice blank. "If you put up a fight, you will be taken by force."

Jane gave her a taste of her power, appearing behind her, and grabbing her by the scruff of her neck. "You're coming with me, and that's final."
