Beindir sheathed the scimitar. "That would be good." he smirked, glancing her way. He hesitated a moment. "So you're really not an elf, eh?"

"Stay safe..." he muttered weakly. "Please."

A figure was sliding through the shadows, not daring to go into the slightest ray of light. He muttered something inaudible before casting his hood over his face and stepping out of the shade.

"Not at all. Never have been. Been born a Shapeshifting Shadow Creature.. will die, a Shapeshifting Shadow Creature," she replied.

"Aearion.." Armure whispered, sadly, lowering herself.
"Daddy.. please don't go..." Anazari whispered.

Aearion managed to move his hand over and reach hers."Armure..." his gaze fell upon his daughter again. "I don't want to, love." his eyes started to close. "I don't want to."

"Wow," he awkwardly rubbed his shoulder. "Brother, what have you gotten yourself into, eh? I've been gone too long." he lowered his voice a little.

"Please daddy, please!" Anazari pleaded.
"I'll keep Anazari safe.. I'll protect her... for you." she whispered.

Maybe now isn't a good time to let him know that Teloren's pretty much a Shapeshifing Shadow Creature, to... Heh.

"Come here, Anazari... please." he couldn't continue the effort to keep his eyes open.

"Something about that is really really familiar though." he looked her straight in the eye. "Shadow Creature, I've heard that term before."

He hissed inaudibly and looked around. When he caught sight of Kortella he slid back into the shadows behind a tree and smirked darkly. Excellent... this shan't be so difficult after all...

Anazari nodded, and made her way closer to him.

She sighed. "Beasts made of shadows, that mainly roam around the Shadow Lands kingdom." she said. "Like this," she created her Shadow Wolf. "Beasts that Shapeshifting Shadow Creatures, Like me, can create,"
"Mom.. I'm.. just gonna go walk around.. hopefully find Lucian."
Alright. Don't be gone too long, though.
Kortella nodded, and turned around, walking away from the two. Lucian. Can you hear me? he sent to him, hoping he heard her.

"You too, Armure." he smiled weakly, but lovingly towards her.

It began to dawn onto Beindir. "Were you ever a guard?"

He intercepted the call and lurked closer to Kortella. Must be the brother...When he was two feet away he halted and aligned himself against a tree. He let his breath become silent, deathly silent.

She laughed lightly, and made her way closed to him, lowering herself.

In one swift movement, he leaped from hiding, and held a knife to her throat from behind. "Don't make a sound." he hissed into her ear.

He sighed. "I'm glad to have the two things that matter most to me by my side. That is my only death-wish." he smiled.

"Teloren and Amaria found you, and brought you in." Beindir recalled almost clearly now.

She gulped, but then kept quiet.

"Please, daddy! Don't die!" she exclaimed, truly crying.

"Well then, I do know you." he grinned. "You remember me at all?"

"I'll try, love." he sunk a little bit lower against the tree. "Can you two do me another favor? I hate to keep asking things from you guys."

He raised his other hand and snapped his fingers to appear in the middle of a dark forest. Then he took the knife away from her throat. He walked a few paces away and examined his knife. "Thank you for your patience, Kortella."

"I've been sent as a messenger. Do you recall one who is named Ness?" the stranger asked, the hood still cast over his head and not facing her.

"Can you find Cyeras?" he was losing his voice a little. "She's probably on the king's boat somewhere. I hope she isn't dead..."

"Very well then." he smiled, taking a few steps closer to her. "Teloren claimed you, eh? That's a shame." he grinned charmingly.

She let out a sigh, and didn't reply.

"Only if you want to, Anazari." Aearion smiled.

"She sends her regards, and her farewell. She is no longer under Death's rule due to recent circumstances." he paused and let the silence grow for a little bit. "I also assume the name Morèion rings a bell, eh?"

"Yesss!" Anazari giggled, and sat down, beside Aearion.
"Right. I'll be back, then." Armure murmured.

Her eyes seem to have sparkled for a moment. "Yes, it rings a bell, indeed."

She nodded, and began walking away. Now.. gotta find my way there..
Anazari giggled again.

He turned to face her now, the smile gone fromhis face. He walked a few paces towards her again. "I'm sorry for your loss." he said neutrally. He patted her abdomen and then turned away again. "For both of you. Personally, I had nothing against him."

"Anazari..." his smile began to fade. "I'm so sorry."
Cyeras still felt drunk and dizzy, with her arms still chained up and still in the brig.

He smiled sympathetically. "Did... Did he hurt you?"

"There is something else you should know. Something I should not be telling you." he said. "She's out looking for you, and the child. She realized that she cannot be truly free until every part of him is dead." The he took his hood down, revealing a mass of black hair. "Allow me to introduce myself." he turned to face her, revealing a pale face with a scar running from his eyebrow and through his left eye. There was another long scar going horizontally across his face. "I am Darkness, the brother of the one you loved. And I am here to protect you under my brother's will."

"I love you, Anazari... my pride and joy... Tell your mother I'm sorry too..." he wheezed; before his eyes closed and his head fell back. He breathed no more.

"Did he want to leave?" he asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Daddy!!!" she cried, loudly. She lightly hid her face in his body, crying. "I'm not going to leave you, daddy.." she whispered.
"Gah!" she exclaimed, annoyed. But it wasn't long ti'll she stopped in front of a boat. "Gee."

She looked up at him, and nodded. "R- Right.. Thank you, then.."

"I don't think so.." she murmured, looking down.

Cyeras felt like something had just punched her in the chest and then stabbed her. She inhaled deeply, then exhaled with a soft moan. She lowered her head in realization and squeezed her eyes shut. Aearion... my brother... he has destroyed you... She threw her head back and shouted in her fury. If she hadn't been chained up, she could have destroyed the place.

"Now," he cast his hood back over his face. "We must leave here."

Beindir moved his hand to the back of her neck and ran his fingers through her hair. "I'm sorry."

Teloren roared in rage again, his wings shot out wide. His fingers clenched into fists, with his claw-like nails digging into his skin. "You are not doing this to me!"
"How many times are you going to say that before you realize I am doing this to you?" The witch circled him once and laid a hand on his shoulder. "Destiny has chosen otherwise. Soon enough, you won't have a care in the world." she grinned darkly. "Not for your son, or your daughter. Not even for your dear Lazuri."

"Oookay.." she looked up, and sighed. "Now, let's see if anyone's there.." she grabbed a knife, and immediatly threw it on the boat.

She looked back up at him, and kept quiet.
