"That's alright. I'm still alive aren't I?"

"Very well. I suppose you don't want to read the rest of this?" Doria grinned, waving the complaint scroll.

"Please. Just.. don't." Alaya pleaded, sighing.

He held up his hands in surrender, tosing the burden in the fire.
"Perhaps you should stop sending me out to collect all the problems of the city, least you want to read them every day."

Got any ideas?]

"'Twas not my fault that you were given the job, Doria." she stated quite simply, though she was surprise to even have remembered his name. "'Twas my father's fault. Be he is gone, now. Gone.. forever.." she mumbled, before eventually crying quietly.

"'Tis not what I meant." he said, turning away from the fire, and gazing back at her. Compassion for her lost crossed his face, and then it was gone just as fast as it had appeared.
"It's okay," he whispered, gently squeezing her hand.

[I think I've stumbled over my WB. Get it? xD]

She slowly pulled her hand out of his grasp.

Doria cleared his throat (awwwwkward), "I'm sorry for your grief."
(sp?)

"'Tis fine." she replied quickly.

Doria nodded slowly, taking a interest in his boots.
A guard then opened the door,
"I'm not interrupting anything?" he asked.
"And, dinner is ready, My Lady."

Alaya nodded, quickly wiping her tears away. "You may come, too." she said quietly, to Doria. Her voice was soft.. quiet.. gentle.

Doria blinked, "Very well."
He strode to the opened door, smiling inwardly.

Alaya followed behind him.

[I dislike meals . . . wanna skip to the next random day?]

Doria looked at the gaurd leading them towards the Dining hall. He noticed how much weapons they carry....

Doria sheathed his sword from sparring on the grounds. The rain had brought a sunny day today, and the battle training grounds were empty, save a few people.
[How about they right? Ranomly!]

As usual, Alaya was sitting on the bench in the garden.

[Typo, yes, FIGHT with sword; spar? xD]

Doria gazed around, not many people were here, and still, more were leaving.

Alaya began to think profoundly. And eventually.. she was lost in thought.

[Mia, ahem, would Alaya like to come into the training grounds and spar with Doria? It was, in fact, a brillant thouht. 'Cause if not, well Im gonna have me one heck of a WBs XD]

Doria strode up to the entrance, seeing if anymore people were coming. In not, he'd leave.

Alaya slowly rose. She just wanted to take a peak at the training grounds.. she how everything was. She began making her way there, until she arrived there. She was stopped by a knight. "What are you doing, my Queen?" he asked, strictly. "This isn't the place for a woman like you, to be."
Alaya sighed. "Please, just let me through."
"M'Lady! It's too dangerous for you!" he exclaimed.
Alaya shook her head. "Worry not. I shall be fine."

Doria unsheathed his sword when he heard the guard and was surprised when Alaya walked through. He raised an eyebrow, tapping his sword against his leg.

Flame kissed the top of her head gently.

"That baby's going to love you, Flame." Anazari whispered, smiling lovingly.

"Oh, hey there, Doria!" Alaya called, grinning.
