Re: The Crusher's Club
Ok, it's official. My brother needs to become better friends with Juice's little brother.
Why, you ask? Cuz there's this other guy in my grade with a brother the same age as mine. Their family sent us a Christmas card. I think it was over the summer last year, I went out to lunch with this guy, his brother, and his mom (my mom and brother were there, too). And my brother was just at their house and I was allowed inside while picking them up, where I saw the guy in my grade a lot. If he was friends with Juice's brother, that might happen with their family.
But I don't think they're even kinda close friends. Apparently Juice's brother had a birthday party yesterday and my brother wasn't invited. That better be fixed soon....

Ugh, can I just vent about this one guy in general, even though I don't like him or anything?

Re: The Crusher's Club
K, so two summers ago (summer of '08) I went to summer camp in my town and met these guys, Joey and Rudi. (they're twins) I was pretty good friends with them so we talked and stuff a lot. I found out they live by me so I see them sometimes when they're staying with their dad. (their parents are divorced) So yesterday, I went to deliver Girl Scout cookies to their dad and Joey answered the door. He said one word to me (and it wasn't even hi or bye, it was just "thanks") and I thought it was kinda rude. My friend said he probably forgot who I was cuz I haven't really seen them in a while. But today I saw Rudi walking his dog while I was walking home and he freakin' ran to catch up to me and say hi. So now I'm kinda annoyed at Joey for acting jerkish.

Woah, ok, I definately don't like him. xD And I doubt he likes me; at camp, he made fun of me and Joey and said we liked each other. (I didn't like him, and I think he didn't like me either)

Re: The Crusher's Club
This is a perfect example of the sterotype that if two friends are of the opposite gender, one likes the other.
He ran to see her, because he hadn't seen her in a long time, most likely. Just because he wanted to say hi, you think he likes her?
Yeah...I really doubt it.

I never said that is peope are friends of the opposite gender they HAVE to like eachother. I have several boys that are friends and I don't like them. I just think she way he acted it's a possibility that he likes her.

I hated when Derek and I were close and people kept making fun of us. He would hug me or something and someone would say something stupid and then he'd stop and just walk away from me all together. xP

twilighter3000 wrote:Well, this is one of those things that I think I'd have to know you in person to make a for sure judgement, but I'll try. I only have 2 guy friends because I can't be around most guys without going all girly around them, so I personally am not even close to liking my guy friends, so I can sympathize, but I'll emphasize. [that was in a book I just read, lol] You probably do like him, at least a little bit, but just try to act normal and not saying anything about it to him for at least a month or 2, because it could be all that hormonal stuff acting up, lol, trust me, I've been through that stage. So I think I'd just try to ignore it for now, but don't act mean to him or ignore him or anything, in case you actually end up really liking him. Sorry, I'm not very good at this, having never been in the situation myself, lol.
Okay, thanks. :3 I think I've kinda accepted by now that I do indeed have a crush on him, so I'll take your advice and do my best to act normal. (The sucky thing is that our families are, well, Catholic. So I don't think either of us are gonna be allowed to date until we're living on our own. xD)

Shadow, I personally think you do. And, I have to throw this out, good job for catching on so quickly. XD It took me 5 MONTHS to realize that I liked my best guy friend as more than a friend. And it won't ruin your friendship. I promise. I liked my guy friend for two years as of yesterday, and we just got together as a couple. We're still best friends though, and it's almost like nothing has changed. I think it's the very best romance you can have, because you already know that you like him as a friend, and you know him well enough that you don't feel guilty liking him, because you know you don't like him just because of his looks or anything, and you know that he's a good person. So you're pretty much in the clear if you get what I'm saying.
Thank you! xD Lol, I'm glad I was paying enough attention to catch on so quickly. That's so sweet! ^^ It really does sound like the perfect kind of relationship. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it can happen for me someday. If you don't mind me asking, how did it work out to where you started dating? Like, what led up to it?

Yeah, people sometimes just do that. I'm sorry. Joey shoulda been more polite for sure. At least Rudi was nice, though!

Re: The Crusher's Club
I hope so. I always make sure I'm nice to him. I say hi when I see him, I talk to him for a while, I'm never mean. I congratulated him at his graduation and talked to him there. I made sure I said hi when I saw him at our town's fireworks. Then I show up on his doorstep bearing Girl Scout cookies and he can't even say hi....

It really is amazing (for me at least). Well, I'm in 7th grade now, and I met my best guy friend in 5th grade. We were best friends for like, two years, and at our dance, I told him that I liked him as, well, more than a friend. He grinned, and admitted that he liked me as more than a friend too, for about as long as I had, because it's so hard to be close friends with a guy, and not end up crushing on them at least once, even if it's just for a few weeks, but this one has lasted for two years. We went with just that for about a month or two, and that was kind of awkward, because everything we'd do normally to kind of show affection, as awkward as that sounds, would be kind of... awkward. More so than it used to be. I can't really think of any other way to describe it. Because having it out in the open was kind of like, well, I really like her, she really likes me, what now? Then a couple Friday's ago (on the nineteenth), I just got up the guts and said, "Hey, Laurence?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, we both like each other, right?"
"Given."
"So, I was wondering if you wanted to... you know, get together as a couple or whatever. It'll be less awkward."
He smiled and said, "It really doesn't matter to me, but, well, yeahh..."
It was sort of something I'd seen coming on for a really long time, so I wasn't too surprised. Really, it just came so naturally, and when you're already so close to a person, friends to boyfriend/girlfriend is the EASIEST transition ever. It's something you'll see coming a long way ahead of time. People might start asking if you and so and so are going out. It was that way for a year and a half for me. xD Just stay where you are, and see where it goes. It's a very natural path. You don't have to do anything for it to happen.

Awww. ^^ That's so, so sweet. Lol, I shall have to keep that in mind. Sometimes I do try to hard to make things turn out right for me. xDD

That could be true. I just hope that, if he did end up liking me back, it wouldn't get awkward. xD I mean, it might not be for me, but I'd expect it to be for him cus in my experience people usually feel a lot more awkward than I do. Cus, you see, my bro had a mutual crush on my BFF, but since they both knew and couldn't exactly do anything about it - neither of them being older than fourteen - I think it kinda got ruined just cus of the awkwardness. Now they're just friends. I kinda miss their crush, just cus it was really really cool. xD

Well... I had a... fairly good day at co-op...
In biology, I do dissection with my friend and Nate. But, my friend was absent. So, it was just me and Nate, and we did pretty well.
Then came Literature after lunch...:/ PM me if you wanna know, because it makes me depressed. ):
