Chapter #1:

Riiiiiing!!!!!!!!!! Riiiiiing!!!!

"I got it!!!" yelled Ashley "Hello?"
"HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O.M.G!!!!!!!!! GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kaley screamed
"What?" replied Ashley
"ALEX ASKED ME OUT TO THE DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" yelled Kaley
"WHAT?!?!?!! WHEN?!?!?!?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!?!?!" yelled Ashley
"He just asked me like 2 minutes ago." replied Kaley " I don't even know how he got my phone number!!!"
"I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ashley shouted
"I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!" replied Kaley
"But now I'm the only girl in the class without a date!!!" No Ashley complained
"Don't be so sure................................he told me that Mark is going to ask you to the dance....................................." she explained
"MARK?!?!?!? I've had a crush on him since like the 2nd grade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ashley screamed
"Sorry, I have to go...................... see you tomorrow" claimed Kaley
"Okay then. Bye" replied Ashley.
It was now 9:30pm. Ashley hung up the phone, got dressed, brushed her teeth, said goodnight to her mom and when to sleep.

The next morning Ashley got up, brushed her teeth, combed her hair, and changed her clothes. Once she got downstairs, the phone rang. she knew what that meant..............
"Hello?" she answered
"Hi, Ashley?" she recognized the voice.............................IT WAS MARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Yeah?" replied Ashley
"Um............................do you want to go to the dance..........................with me?" he managed to ask
"Uh...................sure." Ashley replied
"Okay well, I'll pick you up at 7:00pm?" he asked
"Sure." she replied
"Okay well, I'll see you at school then."
"Okay."
"Bye."
"Bye."
She grabbed her backpack, scarfed down a waffle and some milk and ran through the door. As usual, Kaley was waiting for her outside. They walked to school talking about the latest gossip, and news, but they had no idea what was in store for them........................................
