It's tomorrow... Well, actually it's today, but when you wrote that, today was tomorrow, if that makes any sense.

I know, this is late, sorry; been a bit busy, but here's the beginning of chapter 3!

Chapter 3 Part 1
Torture Via Classmates

I sigh deeply as I stand at the end of my dirty driveway, waiting for the bus to show up already. Jake is next to me and holding my hand; he insisted that he absolutely must come, or else he’d “play with Teddy” in my room again. More like lock the dog in there until it made a mess of my rug!
Jake inserts his thumb into his mouth and tugs at my hand.
“What?” I ask a little sharply, glancing down at him.
“Awix.”
I glance up. He’s right--that kid Alex is riding down the road on his hunk-of-junk bike. He comes to a stop a few feet from us and smiles. “Mornin’.”
“Go away.”
“Is that your catch phrase or something?”
“Actually, it is.” I snort and roll my eyes. “What’dya want?” After my meeting with Benny this morning, I’m not too happy. I walked into the bathroom around five to see him perched on the sink, trying on some of my make up. I screamed and tried to hit him, but, well…Let’s just say money for a new bathroom mirror is coming out of my allowance.
“I’m your ride to school today. Bus broke down.”
My jaw drops. “You’re kidding me.”
“Sadly, no.”
Jake hides behind my leg, glaring up at the boy venomously.
“It’s okay, Jakey.” I promise, crouching down and kissing his forehead. “I’ll be okay, I won’t let the creep anywhere near you.”
“Funny how you said that just loud enough for me to hear,” Alex mutters.
“Hilarious,” I agree. I kiss my brother again and give him a gentle shove towards the house before facing him. “But, seriously, when’s the bus coming?”
“It’s not.”
“I swear if the bus comes when I’m not here my mother is gonna kill me!” I exhale deeply and pinch the bridge of my nose. “Do you spit-swear it’s not coming?” I spat on my palm and held it out to him.
He spat on his and shook my hand; I gagged. “Yes. Hop on.” He pats the handlebars.
“Seriously?”
“I guess that’s your other catch phrase?”
“Oh, get a life.” I clamber onto his handle bars and hang on tight. “Alright….I’m good.”
“Great.” He starts off. Surprisingly, he’s stronger than I thought he was. The bike darts along the side of the road. Wind whips at my face, messing up my hair and making me whine. He just ignores me and keeps going. After a while he asks, “So, seen any ghosts yet?”
“No,” I lie.
“Not even Benny?”
“You’ve seen him too?”
“Liar.”
“I--What?--Oh--Wait--URGH.” I slap my forehead. “Okay, yes, Alex, yes I saw Benny.”
“And what’d ‘e say?”
“Stuff.”
“Like….?”
“Stuffy-stuff.”
“Real descriptive, Scully.”
“Why, thank you, whateveryourlastnameis!”
He sighs. “Smith.”
“Alex Smith?”
“Hehyep.”
“That’s a pretty plain name…” I note.
He snorts. “Awh, shucks.”
My eyes widen. “Do people here really say ‘shucks’ still?” I gasp, looking back at him.
He laughs. “No, just me.”
There’s silence for a few moments. “Are the people at your--”
“--Our.”
I roll my eyes. “Our school nice?”
“Sometimes.” He shrugs.
“Do you think they’ll be nice to me?”
He laughs, “Doubt it.”

I have several stories in writing at the moment, so updates on this one and any others that I post will NOT be daily. I will try and finish them, yes, but so you know, I have yet to finish a story...xD

OMG OMG OMG OMG, I have this really awesome bit of stuff about Stephen King that I keep really wanting to say, but my parents would kill me if I did. XD So all I can say is that I really wanna read his books, but my parents think they're too . . . I dunno, R-rated or something. xD

xD Some of them are a bit violent and, well, R-rated. My mom let me read The Talisman by him and some other dude. It was probably one of the best books I've ever read--it was a little ify, language at stuff, but it made me cry and laugh and was just awesome. She let me skip the beginning few chapters 'cause they were boring, though, so she filled me in. xD That's the only book by him I've read so far--I've watched the movies based off the books, though, Rose Red several times, and they are sooo good but scary.

Ooh! One movie that's based off of one of his books I SO wanna see, but it's rated R... xP My parents lemme see Die Hard [GO BRUCE!], though, so why not this Stephen King one?
Maybe it's more graphic.... Hm.

I've watched them on SyFy before--Rose Red is a good one, though it is a slight bit graphic/violent/scary at times, there's nothing highly romantic in it. But, yeah, Rose Red is my favorite. xD Desperation--at least I think that's what it's called--is super creepy... I couldn't watch the whole thing. xD

Stephen King, and romantic.... Technically they weren't in the same sentence, but I can't imagine one like that anyway. xD

Yes, it did! xD It is--dude, I was just watching it and explaining what was happening over the phone to my BFFL--'cause we were bored and I didn't feel like talking about anything else--and she started like squealing in fear. xD
I've heard of that one, I think, never seen it, though. [This no smiley looks far too depressing!]
