Angered and obviously quite annoyed to death, Shade unsheathed a knife and held it at Dude's throat. "If I were you, I'd shut up right now." she hissed, not entertained.

"Ugh. Fine." She pulled the knife away, but held it at his back. "Just go, then. But be warned. I'll be behind you, this whole time."

Dude nodded, running towards a nearby water faucet. There was only one problem... He was about two feet too short.

Shade followed him, eventually realizing it, as well. "Brilliant." she muttered. "Um.." she glanced around quickly, spotting a nearby puddle of water. "I know it may not taste great, at all, but... there's a puddle of there that you can drink from..."

But Dude was frozen in place, staring straight towards a tank rolling down the sreet. "OMG, we gotta hide!" Dude cried, waving his arms in the air.

"In that pile of leaves-- Quick!" Dude shouted, racing for a pile of leaves that might even tower above a normal sized human.

Suddenly, Dude heard the sound of a loud motor starting, and the pile was blown away to reveal seven masked bandits huddling where the middle of the pile would have been. Dude saw a teenager with a leaf blower. The tank rolled by, stopped, and twenty armed men climbed out the top, handcuffed the bandits, and drove away.
"That was dumb," Dude said.

"On with the mission, then," Dude said, getting up and brushing off his pants. Turning to the teen, he said, "Young man, have you any bearings on the location of the wild mountain man Hafoney Baloney?" The teen was still in shock and couldn't answer.

Dude looked down, muttering a curse word.

The teen shook his head vigorously, and said, "No, I see guys like you all the time... But you're looking for Hafoney Baloney? ..."
