"Wish I could say the same... except for the bassoon part."

"What do you mean by that?" I asked, an eyebrow raised. "Oh, is that your manager over there?" I changed the subject.

"I'll explain later." Alex turned around and saw Hannah Lane, his manager. "Oh, joy..."

"Is she like your stalker?"

"Definitely. She has to follow me around, but she's not going to for the next 2 weeks."

"Good. Because she is creepy." The wedding was now over. Thank goodness. Time with my new husband.

"She's very creepy. Let's go before she sees me."

"Thank goodness it's over." I said as I went into my porsche. "You comin or taking your car?"

"I'll just go with."

"Explanation, babe."

"About before?"

"Yes."

"All right. About two years before I met you, I had a girlfriend, and she and I were really in love, but... then she got in a car wreck that ended up killing her... She was hit by a drunk driver, and he was tried and convicted, thankfully. So, that's it."

"Unusual way of life." I mumbled, remembering when I accidentally crashed into an 18 wheeler. "I'm sorry."

"Yeah. But that's all over now. Nothing to worry about."

"Alright... Where we headin' now?"

"Airport."

"Keepin it a secret, eh?"

"Yup."

"Gah. Finee." I whined.

"Don't worry. You'll like where we're going."

"Oh, really? Is it Hawaii?"

"Nope."

"Then whereeee?" I was tired. "I'm tireed. When are we leaving?" I whined yet again, annoyed.
