TV Shows or Movies?
Which do you prefer, TV shows or movies? Personally, I like television shows more, because you get to see the characters develop as the series progresses. :]

Re: TV Shows or Movies?
I don't really watch TV shows anymore that aren't reality, barring Glee. xP So I guess I have to say movies. I'll give reason for it though. As much as cliffhangers and nice and all, sometimes it gets annoying, like, all of a sudden some guy that was presumably dead talks--and then end of episode. He's back? How? Why? Who's he working for? Etc, etc. Those answers come pretty quickly in a movie, or so it seems.

I like TV shows more... but I like them the best when you have the whole season at once. xD

Re: TV Shows or Movies?
I watch literally one hour of TV a week (yay! Vampire Diaries tonight!) so I can't say I like TV that much. But I don't end up getting out much, and I havn't seen a lot of movies lately. I think the last one I wanted to see, not with family/Twilight related, was The Knowing back in April, i think, of 2009. So... I vote for books/neither.

Such a difficult decision.
I love horror movies, yet I do watch tv because I like watching hockey. xD
Aw well, hockey is epic. Tv!

I love them both, but I'd have to say I'm leaning towards TV shows. They're a lot more fast moving, and you know that there's always going to be more the next week. I also have a very short attention span sometimes, so if I've seen the movie before and don't absolutely adore it, I get bored halfway through and leave. X.x

Re: TV Shows or Movies?
I'd have to say I prefer movies.
Although I would feel totally helpless on Sunday and Thursday night without my guilty pleasures, ( Survivor, The Real Housewives of New York City, and The Celebrity Apprentice ) I would rather watch movies instead of the telly. Movies are much more put together in my opinion, which I like. And when you finish a movie, you can just continue with your day, or go straight to bed. When it's a television show, it's all "OHMYGOD, WHAT'S GANNA HAPPEN NEXT?!" and "HOLY CRAP, IT SAID 'TO BE CONTINUED' WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO RICK!?"
You know? It's just sort of... frustrating.
I may be saying I prefer movies though because my parents tend to ignore me when I watch a movie, which is great. We always watch our "Thursday Night T.V Shows" together and they comment on every. single. thing. that happens.
It's really annoying. >.< And then they talk over what's happening ( Thank God for the rewind button) and my Dad likes to obnoxiously chew on his billion calorie desserts next to my ear during them.
so.
yeah.
I might be biased.
Anyway, I had no idea I had such a... large opinion on T.V shows and movies.

Re: TV Shows or Movies?
Sweet, someone else on here likes Celebrity Apprentice. But anyway, back on topic.
*looks at Forry's answer* That's interesting. 'Cause I like movies for the exact same reason: I think they move faster. In TV shows it takes weeks and weeks for each of the plots to move on, whereas the plots, typically singular, in a movie are done within two hours unless it's a series sort of like Harry Potter.
I will agree with you on one part, though, there's only like two movies that I could EVER watch more than once. Then again, barring Spongebob and Avatar, it's hard for me to watch anything more than once. xD

I like TV series . . . because they last longer.
But movies are great, too . . . especially if they're successful and lots of work was put into it . . . like Avatar.

I like tv shows (Doctor Who is my fav). Movies are just way too short to get a real good read on the character.

Movies.
I agree with your point [Spring], but I love to sit down and watch movies with friends + fam. I love watching it for endless hours, && I love the feeling that I get from watching them. I also cannot wait for next episodes that TV series have: I'm impatient. xD
