Those Big Brown Eyes

Green, Brown, and Golden Galore
Just like the autumn leaves
But from the start I knew they were more
Those big brown eyes; those little thieves

My heart was stolen from the start
And I fell for you so very deep
Looks like I was hit with Cupid's dart
When you took me up with just one sweep

I'm not sure how, but I just knew
There's something special beneath those eyes
From the curious, handsome, golden brown
To the mysterious jades, that hold no lies

So many feeling in those bright orbs
With passion, love, risk, and care
It takes some time to absorb
But in the end, the time is fair

I think you've got the full extent
But that's not half of what they are
Of all the hours of thought I've spent
I can't help but pray that our love will get far
