She glanced at the clock, and moaned. "Now what? Do I go find him, or wait for him?" she asked Altarra. This was really stressful.

((Now would be the perfect time for Kevin to show up . . . *nudge nudge*))

Kevin knocked lightly on Casey's door. "Casey?" he called, fixing his hair nervously. He'd dressed up a bit, managed to tame his messy hair for five minuets (it was now messy again). Lily was curled up in his pocket, the size of a dime (in fact, she was a dime), spying.

Lauren and Cassie seemed to have traded personalities that night. The former was excited about the ball, having a good feeling about it for one reason or another. The latter had been avoiding Jami and Alex all day after the previous night's event. Cassandra was in the same floor-length gown which tied behind her neck. It was similar to Lauren's but the Calypso girl's dress was forest green.

Erik wore a classic black suit, something that had been popular in his hidden time. A long black cape usually would have accompanied but he hadn't felt the need.


David walked in alongside of Daniel Calypso, a boy who was barely four years younger than him in age. They both wore a similar pair of black dress pants and white dress shirt.


Padfoot was there against her will and was basically staying as moral support for her best friend. She wore a silver dress that had see-trough sleeves and ended around her knees. With the help of a girl she'd applied make-up and looked much less skeletonlike than normal.

Altarra laughed, as she watched Casey sprint over to the door. The girl opened it quickly, beaming. Suddenly the anxiety was gone - now that she was actually with Kevin. She could save herself a lot of trouble if she just hung around him more. "Hi, Kevin."

((Nice. xD I've never seen her be a dime before!))

((Wanna know how I got my mom to let me on? I told her my person had a date, and it wouldn't be nice to stand him up. x3 But now she's going around calling Kevin my date. xP))

Liz was sitting, her ankles crossed, watching people enter the room and dance and such. She wore a longish midnight blue dress that was patterned with sparkles; it looked like the sky on a clear night. She also wore a pair of strappy heels and her hair was back in a pony tail that lay flat against her back. She sighed softly but brightened a little when she saw David.

Alex grabbed Gwen's hands. "Common, lil' lady, let's DANCE!"

Gwen's eyes went wide. "Alex, please--"

"--no." Alex giggled, dragged her out to the dance floor, and tried to make her dance--

Which was pretty hard because her heels were dug into the floor and she refused to move, whatsoever.

Jami and Tim were standing somewhere; Jami was babbling to Tim about something, something that made him grin widely.

Tim looked lonesome. He gave a half smile and nodded, but was just wishing for Lizzie to be there. He wanted her back so bad....

Kevin smiled at her. "'Ello, Casey!" he said, pulling a single red rose from one of his handy-dandy inside pockets.

David walked to Heather's door and knocked lightly. He was wearing a black button up vest with a white t-shirt under it, jeans, and black vans. He had his hair in a faux-hawkish fashion and in his hands was a rose for her. He wasn't really dressed up, he didn't really like to.

Jina walked in and was wearing a long, floor legnth white dress that matched her hair which was down and curled, with the help of Kelly. She had a white mask on her face, and she looked beautiful, like a doll.

Noah walked up to Taylor wearing a white dress shirt and grey dress pants with his converse "So...where's Heather and her date?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Hey, question!" Altarra called, cruelly ruining the moment. "Can I come too?"

Casey shot a glare of warning over her shoulder at her. "No."

Altarra smiled innocently in reply.

I only have like . . . hmm . . . I'd say fifty minutes before I have to go. xD Bleah.))

Alissa was sitting beside Ethen, fussing over his hair. She licked her hand, and passed it over his head, "I swear, Ethen, you really need your own hair brush." She said as she began to fix his hair.

David nodded to Daniel, "If you'll excuse me," with a grin he walked over towards Liz. "Good evening Miss Sutludge," he said with a wide smile.


Danny saw a familiar face and walked over to a pair of girls, "May I cut in?" he said with a calm air in his voice.


Cassie was hiding behind Lauren and a ravenblack fan with the half-blood symbol pressed into the paper. "Oh crud, Laur, hide me," she moaned, wishing she could vanish.

"Relax, Cassie, he's not even looking over here at the moment," she smiled at her best friend and shook her head with a bit of a snort.

Erik saw a familiar face, recognizing her even from behind the mask. With a few strides he was beside her, "Evening miss," he grinned at Jina widely.


Taylor looked up and smiled at Prongs, "Not sure. Thougth I saw her but the wolf seems to have slipped out of sight." Her tone was light and relaxed.

{Awh, really? }

Kevin chuckled, "Sorry," he said to the dragon. He reached out and gently put the flower behind her ear. He smiled.

Liz looked up at him and smiled slightly. "Evening Mr. Norris," she giggled.


Gwen looked up. "PLEASE!" she said.

Alex pouted. "What, you dance with him not me? Oh, wait, are you Danny?" She pulled away from her sister and shoved her towards Danny. "Have fun!" With a mischievous little giggle she scampered away.


Jami nudged Tim. "There she iiiiiis!" Jami waved at her with a broad grin, walking over. He could tell it was her, even from all the way across the room. Tim followed.

I jumped. "Uhm, just a minuet!" I squeaked, fixing my hair for the final time.

((Lol. And I'm kinda admitting it stuck, cus Gri just came down, and I'm like, "Go away. I'm on a date." x3 And I had plans to tell my dad that I went on a date with a guy that had a hot accent. Aren't I weird?))

Casey, grinned at Kevin, blushing. "So, um . . ." She glanced nervously behind herself at Altarra. "Maybe we should get downstairs?" She laughed a little.

Altarra just shook her head, a smile on her face. Oooh, would she go if she wanted. Hey, Kevin, you should kiss her! she urged him, wanting to cause a little more trouble that Casey might one day thank her for.

Mariah was sitting beside her, chuckling quietly. She wore a white dress, with simple gold sandals, her platinum blonde hair was down, as it usually was.

Not yet. Kevin smiled and took her hand. "Of course," He began to lead her away. "'Night, Altarra," he called over his shoulder.

Casey couldn't resist turning quickly around to stick her tongue out at Altarra, before turning away, and grinning at Kevin with a rather smitten expression. (Like this - oops! Wrong one! x3 I meant this one - ) She wasn't planning on seeing that dragon for the rest of the night - at least until the dance was over.

"She does get annoying, doesn't she?" muttered Kevin with a chuckle as he lead Casey towards the ballroom.
