"It's fine." I shrugged, I'd never talked about my problems to anyone. And I don't think I would be starting. It seemed like he could relate to my porblems though, even though he didn't know that. I sat on the couch, looking around. It was a pretty nice place, really.

"So, you don't want anything to eat, is there anything that you would like to do?" I asked sitting in the chair next to the couch. I looked around "I don't think there is much we an do here."

"I see." I said "He's a lucky guy." I said "Actually, I was just thinking about that, you see, you remember Emma from when we were kids?" I asked "I think maybe I might like her, I mean really like her."

"He's a lucky guy," Troy said as I blushed slightly. "Thanks," I said, taking his wrist and smiling thankfully. "Oh, Emma? Hmm, she never seemed like your type. Very... Self-centered to me." I shrugged. "Well, I'm sorry it didn't work out between us and I'm happy you found Emma." I nodded. "See ya," I replied, standing up and getting ready to contiue my run.

"Whatever you want to do." I tried not to sound desperate to do whatever. Maybe I was wrong, but I was positive I sounded desperate.

"Wait!" I grabbed Sandra's wrist "I'm sorry how things went between us too." I said "And, self centered? Sandra how well do you know Emma?" I asked her and let go of her wrist "Emma is having some problems right now. Depressed, maybe, self centered, are you kidding me?" I said "How do you think I feel? I really liked you Sandra, I didn't know how much until after I left Miri and learned that you were with someone else. How do you think I felt? Tell me and then think about how Emma feels." I said and turned away to walk the other direction.

"I guess we can just sit here and talk." I said, I had remembered yesterday after I talked with Emma and ran into Sandra "Hey, if it isn't too personal why have you seemed so depressed, your not very good at hiding it from me, I know what it's like."

God, I didn't know it was that bad. I guess I never felt like it was written all over my face. I didn't want to bring him down, but it felt better that he knew what it's like. "Um, just life in general." I shrugged, thinking he didn't want to here my crap of a story.

"Well, if you really want to know.." I frowned, starting to tell everything. "It started when I was five. I was an only child, and my parents were constantly fighting back and forth. I fighted back the tears. "So I wandered around for a year, doing just what my mother and I did. But this time, by myself. I fell down the waterfall after a year of this, and the first person I met was Jake." I shrugged, trying not to show any signs of weakness. "For a long time, we were the best of friends. At one part, we decided to live together." I gave a little luaugh, that gave me a little bit of strength. "Well anyway, Miri always tried to break us aprt. And when he needed brain surgery, it wiped his memory of 3 years. The years we had spent together. WHen I came back, I was a day late. Miri and Jake were already together. I didn't interfere with their relationship, cause if he loves her, he loves her. Well, then they got married." I shrugged, not passing any tears, but feeling I could break down inside. "JUst forget it. I'm over reacting. I should leave." I said, getting up, and walking off. I closed the door.

I rolled my eyes. "I never said that she was self-centered! I just said that she looked like that because she never talks to everyone and she always has this glare of her face." I said. "And get your hand off of me, your hurting me!" I squealed, kneeing him in the gut and examining and marks on my wrists. "I'm glad Miri is with someone else. You don't deserve anyone." I said darkly, running off before he could say anything else. "She always thinks that people have to pity her," I growled.

I went and sat next to Emma on the couch "You don't have to be tough right now, sometimes it's best to cry." I said noticing she was hurting inside "That's how I felt with Sandra, I left, and then when I realized I really loved Sandra, I looked for her to find that she was in love ... with someone else." I said "But then I met you." I smiled "And now I'm not as upset about Sandra."

(( Oh, to let you know Cassillion, Emma and this Troy are like a day ahead! LOL! ))

"I was right Sandra, Mark's lucky." I said to myself "Lucky he can put up with you." I said, I didn't see how I had hurt her, I had let go, when she hit me it hurt a little.

"How would you know!" I called back. I was tired of this, I didn't hate Sandra, but I didn't like her. She didn't know Emma. She hadn't seen her since they were kids.

I nodded, though I couldn't say the same. He seemed like a nice guy, but that's what I first thought about Jake. Before I was hurt again. I wouldn't fall for it again. I wasn't naive.
