Wow... We were going to have a kid. A kid! In 8 months, I'd be holding a baby in my arms. I shivered at the thought. Was I Ready to have a baby? What I capable of being a... Father?

The word freaked me out enough and holding the title was a whole 'nother thing. I was a little uneasy about the thing, but...

I stopped in my tracks and looked up. The wind was blowing from behind me, towards the house of Emma, the house I was standing right in front of. I shivered again, old memories shooting up my spine. The feeling was more painful than a rush, though.

I took a step forward, my decission lingering in my footsteps as I hurried to make up my mind. I knew it wouldn't help me at all and would probably end in another fight, or more confusion, but my decission was made as my feet carried to my to the front of her door, my hand knocking against the hollow frame.

I stumbled forward in my new Jimmy Choos, the unfamiliar texture of my new flats squeezing my petite feet. When was the last time I wore flats? When I was 5, 6? But they had been so cute that I couldn't deny but, well, make them myself with the snap of my fingers. Literally. To match my black flats was a white sundress, rhimmed in an inky black, with a yellow flower.

To be honest, I feel like the little girl hiding deep inside of me, that I had been feeding gossip and teen vogue for the past few years, to keep her quiet. But now she was back and I felt like a seven year old ballerina. And boy did it was AMAZING! I admired my TIffany bracelet, with charms that hung proudly across it(all from Tiffany, of course.) I was especially eying the new one I had just gotten - I Tiffany Blue Rose, with the word 'Coacher' scribbled into one of the petals. I sighed in contentment, as I let it jangle proudly at my side, showing off the dozens of 'trophies' it held.

And without another moment of thought, I continued forward, to Justin's door.

A heard a slight knock at my door and new who it was. I quickly walked over to the mirror and check to make sure I still looked okay. My dark hair was perfectly messy, and my plain black T-shirt that I called lucky because I wore the day I fell into Brightfield looked fine. My jeans were fine, and very skinny. Most guys wouldn't dare wear skinny jeans, but I preferred them. Then I looked down at my feet. Green high-tops. Great.

I then walked over to the door and swiftly opened it to see Rosie standing in an adorable outfit I could tell she personally designed. It was a lot more girly than usual but that was okay.

Days had gotten so.... torchering.. or.. a better word for it, perpetual. I guess I couldn't exactly explain it, considering I thought life itself was torchering and perpetual. EVeryday I helplessly wondered around, meeting the same people, or new people. Either way, I felt as if the word 'desperate' was written all over my face.

Last night, or in the morning at 2:37 Am, I decided I didn't need a stupid relationship. Because, I simply believed every relationship ended up in crud. But probabley that's just because my parents did. With a sigh, I heard the knock. Atleast whoever it was didn't give me enough time to go waste time and wonder out.

I turned the door knob, when I first noticed his eyes. The soft blue & green. I was stunned, I mean, I knew this day would come, but at the same time I didn't know it could be so soon. I wasn't gonna back out and shut the door on his face, even though that's what my heart told me to do. "Jake.." I muttered. Memories flashed through my mind from long ago. Following up to now. I needed to get over this. And over him.

[COmplete crap, I know.]

It was new, fresh, original... And that is the kind of stuff that I thrived off of. So of course I accepted him. Even if he wore a guerrilla suit I'd accept him. Maybe. Possibly. Probably not, but whatever... It's the thought that counts. "Oh, right... Here," I handed him a Chanel No.18 spritzed invitation, inviting him to my pool party, in celebration for summer. The whole island was invited. Well, mostly the whole island... There were a few people I didn't want to go, including Miri.

I silently opened up the envolope and motioned for Rosie to come in the house. I had cleaned up a little more than usual, just for her. "I've been... okay I guess... I've been missing you." I clearly stated as I read the letter. "Cool. So your having a party?" Not many people had parties out here. Or at least then hadn't in quite a while. We used to have them like every week, and I hardly would even go. But, this party was different because it was my own girlfriends party.

I walked over to the couch and plopped down, wanting Rosie to come over and sit next to me. I was fairly confident that we would be making out in a matter of minutes.

"Yeah, we need to work on meeting up some more," I commented, running my fingers through the back of his hair. "Did you cut it? It looks different. In a good way," I noticed, wondering what else had changed since our last visit.

I was sitting next to him by now, before answering his question. "Yeah, I just thought it would be fun. I mean I don't want to wait until 4th of July... And everyone could use some fun," I shrugged.
