"Definately..." I nodded remembering my last 4th of July. Last year, before I came here, I was home, and I got drunk... it was horrible. ANd then my ex dumped me. Anyways...

"Yeah I cut it a little and died it a little darker..." I nodded a little. I hadn't been seeing Rosie lately and I got a little depressed and died my hair darker. And stopped talking to people. But I wouldn't dare tell her that. Thank god I was the one with mind reading powers.

"Really? I love it," I smiled, speaking truely from my heart. Even though I was an excellent liar... "I like change," I shrugged, noting on how it brought his eyes out more.

"Any ideas for the party?" I asked, since nothing really came to my mind. I mean it was a summer party... What was I supposed to do? Should there be alcohol? Gift bags? What? "And what do you want to do today?" I asked, in case he was bored. I was fine with just sitting here and talking, honestly.

"She wanted me to go you this," I handed her the bright yellow envelope, with "Emma" written in a fancy cursive script, that belonged to the one and only Emma. I wasn't sure whether they were friends or not... But nonetheless, she didn't hate Emma enought to not invite her.

I smiled at bit and offered, "What is there going to be there? I mean like what is there to do and food and drinks...?" She way Rosie was running her fingers through my hair was hypnotizing, and I could hardly talk at all. She was just staring into my eyes lovingly, and that was even making it harder for me to talk. But it's not like I didn't like it. I loved it. Completely.

But then it occured to me that she had said she liked change. If she liked change would she get over me? That would kill me. Literally. I mean if I was depressed when she wasn't with me for about a month, then imagine when she didn't want me anymore. I would probably become suicidal.

(OMG! What if he starts to be too depressed with his life. And he finds out that he cut his wrists once! Just once though... I have a good friend that did that, and it makes me sooo sad... ): His name is Joe, and his parents locked him in his room. So he cut one wrist.)

As I saw his hand move, I thought to myself. Oh. That's why he came.. I actually was stupid enough to think we would come to actually see me? Gawd. I falled for this everytime. "Thanks.." I muttered, not taking it good or bad. But I knew I was disappointed in myself. For falling for that crap.

"Well like, for food and drinks we would have summerish stuff. Soda, beer, lemonade, pizza, chips, and just snacking food," I explained, thinking about what to do. "I guess we'd just hang out by the pool, play music, go swimming for a bit, and then maybe head down to the beach?" I shrugged.

"We could do whatever we want really," my hand stopped movin as we looked each other in the eyes and I felt like I was speaking to him, though we didn't say a word as the seconds built up. I thought I could see something... Was that pain? Probably not. I let the memory loose as I filled the gap between us and kissed him.
