Jesse nodded, and said, "You'll probably have to tell them... They might not like the idea... But, if anything happens, I'm sure you or I will figure something out..." he said.

" Hmm... okay then. " she said, nodding. " They get back in about 2 weeks... "

Jesse nodded. By the time all the talking was done for now, they wre already in the woods.

Kathy saw they were already in the woods, " So what do you wanna do? "

(LOL, aren't I wonderful...? NOT.)



Jesse shrugged. "Anything."

Jesse jumped up inot a tree, and soon started hopping from the branches of the others. Whn he saw a hunter, then guy turned pointed his gun at him, but then found it easier to go for Kathy.

Kathy saw a hunter point his gun at her. She ducked as quickly as possible right before the hunter fired his gun. What the heck is he thinking! she thought & began to climb a tree to hide from him.  

He pointed again, and tried to shoot. Jesse leapt at Kathy, grabbing her, and fallin on his back behind the tree. "Stay." he said, and then ran out toward the guy, chansing after him, and then pouncing on his back. "Do you really find it smart to mess with me...?" Jesse questioned.

Kathy gasped, " Okay, " she said, nodding. She was nervous. This was the first time in her life that someone had tried to kill her.

THe man turned over, to see Jesse with his fangs barred. He nodded, and Jesse let him up, to run. "I thought so." he snapped.

" Why did he try to do that? " Kathy asked, biting her lip & walking towards Jesse.

"Beause... There are some people out there who are just liek that. And other times, they're looking for people like us... Some know aout our - species - which make it dangerous... He knew about it..." he said, looking at her.

" How did he know? " she frowned, " We could be normal... & look a bit different. Maybe. "

"There are way for them to know... That why I avoid people... But, it never works. THere's always one that goes and watches..." he said.

She raised her eyebrows, " I guess... "

"Yeah... Now you know why I avoided you at first for the most part..."

Kathy grinned a bit, " Mhmm... "

"So... What now...?" he asked, changing subject.

" No idea, " she said, leaning against a tree.

"Me either." he leapt up onto a branch.

" Hmm... " Kathy said, shrugging.

Jesse noticed that was passing quickly. It was getting later. "We should go talk to my mom, now..."

Kathy frowned, " Fine then... " she said.
