Dairka's snarl increased in volume. She bravely started to stalk towards the scent; if Zeon was still in the territory, she would attack him or something. Even though he was her father - nobody ever said he could come, so he was trespassing. And if not, she could at least maybe figure out why he'd been here.

Dairka glanced over her shoulder to make sure that Nité was coming. When she verified that, she looked forward again, satisfied.

Suddenly, Dairka froze. She could see him, not too far off. And now she had no clue what to do; her aggression had been replaced by apprehension.

Dairka hesitated, then resumed heading forward. "Well, let's go find out," she said, attempting to keep her tone steady - but she couldn't keep a slight waver from making itself known. She nervously cleared her throat when she realized it.

She pressed herself lower to the ground, slightly, almost as if she were creeping up on an antelope. As she got closer and closer to Zeon, she returned to her aggressive stance - stiff tail, unsheathed claws, ears and whiskers back. Now he wasn't so far away; surely he'd smell them coming soon.

I caught their scent on the wind and turned to greet them, smiling.
"What are you doing here?" Nité growled, but the tough demeanor was broken when her voice trembled slightly.

Dairka didn't speak to him, but instead defiantly lifted her chin and tail, as if to back Nité's words up.
