I laughed, my hands grabbing my stomach as I let out my low bellows. I placed a hand on Akila's shoulder, and motioned for Raen to come to me. She did, and I draped her over my shoulders, my hand still on Akila's. "Are you sure you don't want me to run her back to the tent?" I asked, referring to the snake.

I nodded. "She just... scared me, that's all." I muttered, standing up and smoothing down my shirt and skinny jeans. I was really embarassed now, my cheeks glowing a very bright red.

I shrugged. "Alright, your call." I sat on the bed with her, instantly laying a hand over her knee; guy instinct. I smiled lightly at her, and remembered to blink. I had to move my head a lot, like a snake, considering how hard it was to even move my eyeballs.

I bit my lip when he rested a hand on my knee, but instead of moving it away I gently laid my hand on his, feeling his scales. I looked over at him. "She's fine, I'm just a jumper, you know?" I muttered, referring to the way I would always lay on her or something and then instantly jump.

I nodded; I understood completely. No, I hadn't been afraid of snakes, but hawks always got on my nerves, for some reason. Probably because they were a snake's natural enemy. I was always paranoid about pigs, too. I didn't like them, probably for the same reason.

I smiled and leaned in, bringing my lips to his cheek. Realization crossed my face after I did that and I instantly stood, practically running to the other side of the tent. I knelt down and acted like I was busy digging through some drawers. Did I seriously just kiss his cheek?! I thought to myself angrily.

I was caught completely off-guard when she kissed me. Sure, it was only my cheek, but it was nice. I felt myself blush, although you couldn't see it, and my hand flew to my cheek. I shrugged Raen off my shoulders and walked over, silently, to Akila. I knelt beside her, and asked, "Need help findin' something there, Miss?"

"Uhm.. no I found it." I said with a gulp. I reached my hand in the drawer and pulled something out, just to scowl at myself. A bead. A freaking bead. I'm so pathetic! I threw the bead back into the drawer and slammed it closed with a sigh. "Sorry." I whispered.

I smiled, letting out a short sigh. I placed my hand on her chin, bringing her to look at me. "It's fine, really." What I did next really amazed me. Slowly, I closed my eyes, and even slower, I brought my lips to hers. Shivers ran up my spine as we kissed; it felt really, really nice to be kissing someone, something he hadn't done in a rather long time.

My eyes widened as we kissed, feeling his smooth scales against my soft skin. I slowly closed my eyes as well, tilting my head the slightest bit so I could kiss him better. I definately wasn't expecting that.

I tilted my head, as well, to get a better angle to kiss her. I placed my hands on her back, rubbing her lightly, my aim to make her laugh of ticklishness. I continued to rub her back with the tips of my fingers, tickling her, as I continued to kiss her.

I pulled away, laughing. I brushed his hand away gently. "Stop that, I'm ticklish." I said, still laughing.

I laughed when she finally broke away, laughing as well. I stopped rubbing her back, and instead placed my hands on her shoulders, looking into her eyes. "It's like the ocean in there," I said, looking at the bright blue color. "They're beautiful." He smiled lightly. "And so are you."

I smiled. "Since when did you become all poetic and romantic?" I asked. "Thanks" I added sincerely.

I laughed. "You don't know me," I replied jokingly. I began to stroke her long, soft, black hair, while still staring into her big blue eyes. I kept reminding myself to blink, but I just couldn't bring myself to it to look away from her gorgeous blue eyes.

I smiled as he stroked my hair, staring into my eyes. I stared into his as well, noticing that it seemed he had to try to blink. I remembered that snakes don't blink. "You don't have to blink, you know." I whispered, a grin forming on my face.

I shrugged lightly, not caring much for my Freak. I didn't exactly enjoy being freaky, especially when you have the stupidest freak ever and never got picked to join the circus performances. I thought of my monkey tail, rolled up beneath my skinny jeans so nobody would step on it. "I have a tail." I replied nonchalantly, wishing my Freak was at least half as interesting as hers.

"That's really cool!" I replied. "I've always wanted to see what having a tail is like."

When she said I didn't have to blink, I smiled. "Alright," I replied. So, I didn't even try to blink. I just stared into her big eyes, and, still stroking her hair, leaned in once again to kiss her.

B: I shrugged. "Eh, it's not as cool as you think. In fact, everyone steps on it."

Kin: I smiled and kissed him, gently resting my hands on his shoulders yet pulling him closer all the same.

I placed my free hand that wasn't tangled in her soft black hair and placed it on her shoulder, pulling her towards me as well.

(Yeah I woke up and was about to go back to sleep (I'm wierd) when I saw what time it is. It took me a while to wake up, then I had to get a fan. Our air conditioner is broken and there is a heat wave so it is like 105 degrees today)

I finally pulled away, looking at him with a small grin. "How did this happen?" I whispered, letting my hands drop from his shoulders and into my lap.

[Ahh. Poor you. We're having heat-waves, too, but we have AC. xD]

I was busy kissing her when she dropped back, her hands releasing me and holding in her lap. She asked how this had happened. I shook my head, and replied, "You kissed my cheek, which was nice, by the way, and then you acted like you were looking for a bead." I laughed, then continued. "So, we sat on the bed..and I don't know..I just started kissing you."

I smiled, biting my lip as I leaned back on the pillow and laid down. I looked over at him. "Now I remember." I said, taking his hand and pulling him so he was laying down with me.

I smiled when she laid down, and again when she grabbed my hand. I laid back beside her, looking up at the roof of the tent. I could hear Raen's body scraping across the ground, and I ignored it, and instead paid attention to Akila.

I let out a long sigh, resting my head on his shoulder and kissing his cheek again with a smile.
