Re: The Book Club (in writing)
Things have been busy for me lately, so I haven't really been writing at all, lol. ^^' If I get a good chance, though, I'll try and remember to.
Re: The Book Club (in writing)

Re: The Book Club (in writing)
I know. ^^'
Haha, that's a cool idea, but I've already got my Nano story planned out. xD Lol, and I'm not sure how well I'd do with a goofy story like this; my longer stories are all serious.

Shadow, how did you manage this?! It's hilarious! Laughed hysterically when Pippin started reading, and then my sister gave me a weird look.
So, who else shall make an appearance?

Re: The Book Club (in writing)
Thanks Luna!! xD I just wrote it. On a napkin at dinner, actually. Lol, and of course Gri helped.
The Mac and PC guys from the commercials, and there's like a few more I think . . . I just can't remember. xD I wrote them down somewhere, though.

*gasp* Google him. xD He's the guy who used to do the commercials for OxiClean Stain Remover, that quadruple burger making thingy, and some other stuff. xD

Re: The Book Club (in writing)
I've got more now.
Pippin and Merry then raised their hands. Gangster, who had taken it upon himself to lead the group, nodded at them to speak.
In synch, the pair of hobbits pointed at Frodo and Sam, who had just been quietly sitting in the circle the whole time. “I think they should read!” Pippin said, beaming as if he were the smartest hobbit in the world.
“Read! Read! Read! Read!” Jacob started chanting. He poked Mace Windu as he did so; the Jedi Master gave him a weirded-out look, but soon - as if under a spell - began chanting as well. Mace began poking people too then, until soon the whole room was chanting.
Frodo and Sam glanced uncomfortably at each other, but finally stood with solemn expressions. The room erupted into cheering, but they quickly quieted when Frodo cleared his throat.
“This is the best book in the world,” Frodo said in a grave, clear voice, every word like honey. He met the eyes of everyone in the room, his expression still quite serious. “Its name is . . .”
Sam pulled out a drum from who-knows-where, and started a drum roll. Literally - the drum crawled across the room, and somehow made it out the window with a loud boom.
Poor Bluestar.
Finally, though, Frodo spoke. “Its name is Mother Goose’s Nursery Rhymes!!”
Jacob's expression became hysterical, but quickly changed to one of confusion, along with everyone else’s. Frodo and Sam certainly seemed serious enough about it . . .
Then the two hobbits suddenly tore off their clothes, revealing Scottish outfits underneath, as well unvealing a pair of goofy grins. They starting doing some sort of dance, and then did a polka renedition of some of the best rhymes from the book.
Kevin was delighted. “My favorite!!” he said with an ecstatic face when they played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
Frodo and Sam bowed. “Thank you, sir,” Sam said warmly. “Would you like to join us for the next one? Baa Baa Black Sheep!”
“Sure!!” Kevin eagerly joined them in the center. They handed him an accordian, and then they all did a beautiful performance together, while Joe looked on with a disgusted face.
Suddenly, Kevin whispered something to Frodo and Sam. They nodded eagerly, beaming, so Kevin winked conspicuously at the All-American Rejects.
They grinned evilly, picking up their instruments.
“What the heck?” Joe wanted to know.
The band then began playing a song - a song that was frighteningly familiar to poor Joseph.
Single Ladies.
He let out a terrified screech, immediately scrambling up from the chair. “NO! ANYTHING BUT THAT!” But the bandmates just grinned wider and played louder. So, screaming his head off, Joe fled from the room.
Everyone cracked up - but then they stopped, hearing someone laughing much more obnoxiously than the rest. He had a high-pitched voice, one they were certain they hadn’t heard before in this room. So, turning around to face the front of the room, they found a strange boy cracking up in a chair.
He looked like a teenager, but sounded like he was six years old. “Who are you?” Pippin dared to ask.
He was too busy laughing to answer.
Pootnic eagerly raced up to the boy, punching him on the arm. “Hey! Fred! It’s great to see you again!”
“Fred?” everyone else said, in stunned unison.
“Yep, it’s me!” Fred Figglehorn said with a big smile. “Of course it is, after all. And it’s, like, totally not surprising that you all know who I am!” He shrugged, certainly seeming to not realize that most of them didn’t know who he was.

hahah. I was reluctant to read this before because it involved twilight, but it's a funny story and I'm glad I did.
