It Started with a Rainbow

It started with a rainbow
Soaring through the starry sky
It started with a rainbow
Dancing against the gentle blue

It rose with a smile
Lighting my way through the mist
It rose with a smile
Strengthening my damaged soul

It fell with a tear
Shattering against the snow
It fell with a tear
Trickling down your leather jacket

It ended with a heart
Flooding heavily with crimson
It ended with a heart
Lying torn in the thorns

Oh, my, I just ADORE the format of this...

That was beautiful! I love how it started out all misty and happy, but ended in heartbreak. Dunno why I liked that part but I did xD And the metaphorical rainbow fit really nicely. Great! Smile

Use it. Very Happy It'll be way cool to read a poem that talks about greatness and fascination... It would make a tiny change, everyone likes dark poems way too much, nowadays... Smile
