Re: Megatokyo
Stephanie jabbed the five button, then quickly got out, "Five four three two one takeoff!"
Unfortunately, this was yet another boring elevator. There was a humming noise, and it started moving ever so slowly. It didn't sprout rockets, or explode, or play secret theme music. The lights didn't even flicker ominously. Stephanie sighed and grumbled, "Oh what I'd give to ride in Willy Wonka's elevator . . ."

Re: Megatokyo
Mea didn't reply, too busy sitting on the floor so that she wouldn't get the vaguely nauseating and headachey sensation that typically accompanied elevator rides.
Re: Megatokyo
The silence wasn’t altogether too bad. While Stephanie definitely preferred to be talking to people, she didn’t actually mind silence as long as it wasn’t awkward. Since Mea appeared to be doing something important, Stephanie made up her mind that she would remain quiet for the rest of the elevator ride.
It wasn’t long before they reached the right floor. A boring ding sounded just before the doors pulled open, revealing what looked like a mysterious hallway. At least, that’s what it looked like to Stephanie. “Woah . . . let’s go! I hope we meet a ghost here!” she said with a bright voice, hurrying out onto the carpet of solid ground.

Re: Megatokyo
"Hmm..carpet" She mumbled to herself. The elevator ride had given her plenty of time to slip back into her protective silence.
