''Like four hours.''Rose yelled back at him with a small smile. Then she turned towards Jackie''So how is life been for ya? You dating anyone?''She asked.

Chad ignored Mimi and looked out the window.

Jackie shrugged. "It's been life-like..." he responded. By his tone and his expression one could see he really, really wanted to avoid that question. "Uhm, no, I don't really date."

Egor moaned. "Four hours!?" he yelped. "Ugghhh, that's forever." He laid back, making a face.

Mimi sighed and said to Cali, "So what are you gonna do when we get there?"

Cali shrugged. "Dunno."

''How do you not date?''Rose said looking at him. ''I thought everyone dated.''She laughed.

Chad looked at Mimi and then over at Cali.He began mocking Mimi but only so Cali could see he was doing it.

Rebecca sat at the redlight across from the beach with her hand draped over the steering wheel. Two hours ago she, Izzy, Tyson and Kris had grouped together to meet up with the rest. Her morning began about five A.M. when her alarm clock turned on blaring Jason Aldean singing about real country gals. In the dark room she'd dressed into her blue jeans, black sneakers, and red tank top. After cooking an afternoon worth of food she'd piled up into her red '96 Jeep. Most girls her age yearned for topless converitbles or classy little conrvitive cars. She on the other hand hankered for a beautiful Jeep for her sixteenth. Seven years worth of allouance, birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter money she had her baby. Currently she was using it as the party mobile, driving her friends to the newest destination.

Usually she'd have been talkative but she was quiet, thoughtful in fact. That was almost dangerous.



Kris sat in the backseat, his crystal eyes fastened on Elizabeth's charming face. While his morning had started off rotten, she'd made it all better. Six A.M. his step-mother had come into his room to announce his friends were outside. After having a heart-attack, he got up and threw his black skinny jeans, white-long sleeve and red TSO concert shirt on. He'd nearly run down the stairs while putting his red converse shoes on to realize he hadn't heard her say the word 'soon.' For the next hour he sat there glaring at his sports bag while listening to music. After several attempts by Lisa, his step-mom, to eat breakfast she gave up. The two of them lived in a small apartment in teh city. After his mother died, his father remarried and then he died. Now he was curesed to remain forever with his step-mom. She was polite but she wasn't the parent he needed...
Nine o'clock rolled around and he tumbled out the door, down the steps and was met by the smiling look on Izzy's beautiful face. No matter how angry he was, she always seemed to soften the beast.

"It's been quiet there. I don't expect to get the lead, my voice isn't all that great and I can't act," he lied, but as far as he knew that was what was true. Kris had a rendancy to lessen his abilities.


Izzy sat beside Kris with an entertained looked on face. "You're an amazing actor and singer. They'd be idiots to not take you as the lead!" Naive but gentle she was an absolute angel in some terms. This little prep came from the land where everything was pretty good. In simple phrase, she'd never had a day of trouble. This morning her mother had shook her awake gently with a breakfast meal set up waiting for her in the dining room. After curling her hair, brushing her teeth and putting on her make-up she enjoyed the waffles and tofu eggs. Mommy and Daddy were both vegans and so her diet consisted of the same thing. Shortly before eight o'clock she went back up to her room on the second story and got ready. Thrity minutes later she was in her pink jeans, pink jacket, pink converse and white 'princess' t-shirt. Most would label her as a prep and well, it was true but it was just her style. At quarter until nine she was picked up by Becca and slid into the backseat. The down-south girl had teased her about driving miss Daisy but the blonde just smiled, replying she was fine here.

Currently she relaxed as Kris explained to her all about this musical he'd written. He was her best friend but she was still a little confused... the way he looked at her was different. Oh well.


Tyson sat silently in the passanger seat, smiling as the beach came into view. It'd been so long since he'd been out here. All this year he'd been working at SunPac trying to get his cash up enough to by himself a beach cruiser. Currently he rode to school on the bus but he didn't mind it. That gave him time to hang out. The awkward part was when he had to explain to his dates that they were going to a place near his house when she could drive. Still, no one seemed to mind with someone like him.
It'd been a quiet morning and it was quite odd seeing them all again. Last time he'd seen Becca was when she'd told him he'd been rejected to work at the diner. He'd once ran into Kris when he'd been chased into Hot Topic. Izzy though he hadn't seen in a few months and she changed... a lot. She was turning into a real beauty but the look Kris gave her said she was all his and he respected that. For a guy so deeply shallow and geniunly self-absorbed he did care about boundary lines. That had to be part of the reaon he ended up with so many girlfriends. There was that and the fact and his parents were rich... that mainly had to do with it.
He had woken up this morning when his dad jolted him awake. Four A.M. came and went coming to five-thirty after he returned from his run. Breakfast and then another run. At seven-thirty he took a shower and came back to get ready. After a cat nap they were they were there by nine-fourty five. It'd been an odd morning.

"Well, we're here?"


"Almost," snorted Becca."

Deliaha sighed as they reached the beach she wasn't looking to forward to hitting the waves. Deliaha hadn't like the water or has never been near large bodies of water since she was 13. She was with her brother and his girlfriend they had decided to take her to the beach with them. Deliaha back then wasn't her depressed self an she was looking forward to go swiming in the big adventours ocean. But only when she did, there was a rock on the bottom and when she was swiming down her head had hit it hard. Her brother began freeking out as he never saw Deliaha come back up. He ran into the water and a bunch of life guards followed quickly behind him diviing into the water. Her brother was the one to find her and when he did she was uncontious the life guards helped him get her to shore and then instantly began doing CPR. They revived her but she was rushed to the hospital for her head to be checked on.

Deliaha has swimed ever since then even in a open pool where there is no chance of her head hitting a rock. That was just one of Deliaha's fears....The other was that she would never succeed in killing her self which she wanted so bad to do so.

Heat's face still shadowed by his black hood many haven't seen his face for years since he always had the myserious hood on that covered his face. But if many people where to see his face they would see how hot he really was which no one would expect. Heat's face looked at the open body of water it looked crystal clear except for all the screaming and playing kids that where in the water. Heat could already picture him being annoyed with the noise of kids having fun on a sunny day like today. He knew he wouldn't be swimming only because he knew if he did so he would have to take his black hood off and he wasn't even considering that idea.



Rose looked at the water and she could already see her self hitting the waves on her surfboard which was conatained safley on top of the R.v as long with Chad's. Rose's surfboard was bright lime green with big blue hawiian flowers all over it. She drove the R.v into the parking lot that was off the beach. She got out and Deliaha followed behind her with her bag full of things to do that would keep her busy. And then Chad came running out of the R.v. to get the fresh smell of the Summer air. Head tredded behind them with a angry look on his face but of course you couldn't see it because of his shaddowing hood.

Chad saw them reach the beach and went running out as soon as Deliaha had parked the large R.v. Chad immeditly started to unhook the surfboards that were on top of the R.v. His surfboard was black with one white stripe perfectly going down the middle of the board. Chad helped carry some things to the beach but then from there it was hitting the waves time.
