Essay On Leadership (part one)
(This is a poem done in heroic couplets. I will be doing others, hopefully, and they will be in different forms. Then I shall end it in a last poem with all kinds perhaps. I have to see what people think first. I have my inspiration from experience and my favorite poet Alaxander pope.)
Does chaos and man who have but one egual;
Is the purpose of a book it's neverending sequal?
The student take head to my words,
I'll tell you the human that always hurts.
Somebody who is brave, but you would think you never need her,
The correct study of a group should start with their leader.
I see those eyes, so wondering and sad,
What to tell is hard, what to say makes me mad.
I guess a leader is all of the above,
Happy, sad, excited, not thought of.
A leader is not only someone who takes charge,
To order is ease, to lead is more large.
One who had suffered might just fit well,
Perhaps it's just not that to tell.
The leaves start to fall after the Summer,
So the start of man begins with it's leader.
It's funny how we ask a leader to face a fight,
When we ourselves have enough might.
When we ourselves are brought into the crumble,
We suddenly turn and blame them for the stumble.
A leader is frightned by maybe one thing,
Perhaps a bee is afraid of it's sting?
Too lonely for love, Too strong for sadness,
A bit in denile, On the verg of madness.
As a sheperd takes responsibility of their flock,
And as a small snake has but little talk.
So is a leader, is the broud of day,
To speak is to leave, to silence is a stay.
Think about it awhile, it will come to you soon,
It's much like after comes to noon.
What is a leader? Do I not need but one clue?
He who is hurt and always true.
So love them dear people and read this fine card,
To fallow is human, to lead is hard.

Re: Essay On Leadership (part one)
That's amazing. :O I wonder if it's true for all leaders . . . like, including me . . . xD Maybe.
Re: Essay On Leadership (part one)
Perhaps, it's just some of my troubles with being a leader. It might not be true for all, just from my experience. Thanks! Leadership is one of my favorite topics to write about, thats why I want to do more.

Re: Essay On Leadership (part one)
Sometimes poems like these are meant to be interpreted in many different ways. I could be talking about leadership, or the troubles of God and his people. Those are the two topics I focused most on, but if you look closely perhaps they can be put to other topics. In essay on criticism, Alaxander's poem can be seen through the troubles of writers and people. An, of course, criticism.

That's a good point! I like poems like that, because it lets so many people find something familiar in them.

Yeah, their fun! This one isn't the best, I will try to make better ones in this format in the future.
