Fly with Us... A MR RP! Book Two: Flight or Fight?

I closed my eyes and tried to ignore my stomach.

Slowly, the time ticked by and at midnight I glanced at the sleeping girls. At least I thought they were sleeping. "Kara, Aria? Time to go," I said softly.

I groaned my eyes still closed.

"Come on," I urged, standing up.

I crawled over and sat by her feet grumpily.

Aria stood up slightly opening her pitch black wings.

I grinned watching them file out the doors.
“Keep ‘em in that trance and . . . Up and away?” Jack looked from Bee to me. I nodded and pointed at a skylight.

Bee stared at them until they were out of the building. She told them to go to sleep, but knew they'd wake up soon. "Let's go"

I wished I could stretch my wings like that. I gave it a try anyway. I ended up in pain, a small tear on my cheek.

"What's wrong?" asked Aria to Kara.

"Wing hurt."

My stomach started to growl again.

Aria glanced down at Kara. She needed to eat, well they all did.

I looked at her with my big blue eyes. I burried my head ion her chest sadly.

I hazily flew around, extremly tired. I made do with shelter in a tree. I hadn't had food or water all day, and the scary people made me run on a tredmil for six hours straight. I was asleep within minutes without noticing the lights on in a house nearby.

(I was thinking the house could be Amanda and Fang and Gazzy and Nudge's home?)

Aria flew into town. She got some chicken from some fastfood place, and flew back to the cave. She had this strange feeling she was being followed though.
