The tears in your eyes daze your sight, the agony in them are mirroring the hazy moonlight buried deep within your flawed soul. You want to run away to felicity, you want to run away from all of the dread inside of you. The little panics that cause a gunfire warfare right in your head. The little terrors that make your heart hammer. The little worries that come back over and over, and stinging your mind like a horde of mosquitoes.
The frights, being needles pricking your skin...
But what if there was a surpassing, preferable place to just skedaddle to without a backward glance? It’s what you have always wished for, anyway.
This is possibly what you thought, while one day evacuating that little village, and your adequate, yet totally insufficient, wee house near a prairie. Fit for a munchkin, you always thought of it. Not fit for you, at all. But then again, what was fit for you in this whole village? In this whole world? In this whole universe? You, probably, think that even if you would have lived for eons and eons, nothing would have ever changed for you. Well, that was probably how you felt about your existence as you hoped onto a plane and flew away to a rich, vast and lavish house called Fellsmoor Manor. You were hired there as a confidant, a helper, and an intern, along with a few others. The owner once started a home-based business in which she got paid for simply enjoying the companionship of pets. A pet is often the children of the family in many houses, as Americans spend more than $34 billion a year pampering their pets. So, the business boomed as it would. And now, with an internship, and getting payed... what could go wrong? Even if the owner is said to be a witch, as as by practicing witchcraft and voodoo, just because the animals she pet-sat were completely changed for the greater good. In an unsual way. But you don’t care... You don’t care about that or anything else everyone was coming up with.
You were set on going to this ‘haunted mansion’ if your smutty life depended on it. You were determined to make it better by doing this, anyway.
But at what cost...?

She has two colossal kitchens in her manor; one for cooking her own meals and one for stirring and creating her own spells.
Appearance: She has waist-long cherry red hair, high cheekbones, and pastel skin. Her eyes are large and amber, and always half-lidded. Her nails are often painted scarlet, and are just red, perfect ovals. She likes to wear white gold, snow flake dangle earrings constantly. And she always wears black.
Weakness[es]: She’s frail, so many things and normal people could hurt her, of course. That is, before she hurts them. If they’re normal people, at all...

He has a dry sense of humor that's hard to catch on to but can be funny if you understand it. Rocus often acts on impulse and gets himself into trouble. He likes to pretend that he has complete control over what he's feeling, but those impulses are a result of his extreme emotions. Externally he's a glacier, but he has a typhoon going on inside of him. He's also quite controlling, although not entirely difficult to get along with.
Appearance: He has lightly tanned skin with a slight sickly tone. His dark chocolate hair falls loosely to the base of his neck in razor-straight strands. Lined with smoky eyeliner, his eyes are a deep and sullen shade of mocha, often spacing out as if he's looking right through you. Rocus often wears a Pentagram ring on his middle finger, along with a lot of leather studded collars and wrist bands. He usually wears all black but bits of silver and red aren't uncommon for him, either. His arms are covered with scarring from needles and he has a tattoo of an angel on his upper left shoulder.

Other: He's not a vampire, but he's a part of a cult that kills animals and humans for their blood. They're completely human, though.

Personality: She is pretty much evil in a way. She doesn't like anyone, but is good at getting what she wants and walks with her head up as if she is better than anyone she meets.
Appearance: She has long, straight brown hair that perfectly reaches her waist. She trims it every day to keep its perfect length, and always has her long bangs braided back away from her face. He hair is always well cared for and shiny, and she has a very tall and slim figure. Her large brown eyes match her hair and her full lips and acne-free face is always covered with makeup to match what she wears, which always happens to be beautiful and expensive gowns.
Weakness[es]: She absolutely HATES cats. They disgust her to bits, considering she is a dog.
Other: Every night at midnight she turns into a very large wolf with the same brown colored fur and eyes. Her fur is pretty much medium length and she changes back at one o'clock. Although on full-moon nights, she is not seen throughout the day because the night before, she does not change back into a human. She stays a wolf until the full moon night where she changes back at dawn.

She talks to herself all the time, and will often twitch. She can be described as "Mentally Challenged." But it is far worse than that. When she talks to people, she never looks at them. Often away, or somewhat near them. If you touch her, even the most gently she will scream and start trying to hit you. Like I said, "Mentally Challenged" in a way.
Appearance: Long black hair that reaches her waist and, literally, black eyes. Her pupils often fill the whole of her eye, so no white is visible. She is long and skinny and often wears gothic clothing.

History: She was in a mental institution for five years before breaking out and running to the mansion as an intern.
Other: She will often be taken over by a dark spirit and you never know what she will do when that happens. Whenever she is taken over, her pupils will fill her eyes so that no white is visible. When she isn't taken over, her pupil is the size of the tip of a needle and only white is visible.

Personality: She spends her time singing or practicing her Tae Kwon Do mainly, and doesn't talk to people much. But it isn't because she is shy, because trust me she's not shy. She just prefers to be alone.
Appearance: Brown straight hair that reaches the end of her shoulder blades and she is short for her age. She obviously has some muscle, but she isn't as crazed as a body builder or anything.
Weakness[es]: When others tell her what to do
Other: She hated her parents, and they hated her. Of seven kids in all, she came unexpectedly and they didn't want her. To deal with them, she would be out of the house doing what she loved all day. Singing and fighting. She is a 2nd degree blackbelt at Tae Kwon Do, specialist in weapons and she loved to sing. Once her parents decided she was a good singer, they forbid her to sing any longer. But they didn't know about Tae Kwon Do. On her 18 birthday they found her room empty and she was gone to become an intern.

Appearance: Very straight blond hair that reaches her shoulders and a tall body structure that is skinny and has the perfect curves. She is obviously very pretty.

Personality: Emily is an incredibly silent girl, to the point where people think she's mute. Most people don't get the chance to make these conclusions, though, as she seldom collides with society. She had a feeling this place would be a splendid refuge for her to live peacefully and silently within, maybe overcome those traumatic times that kept her trap shut for twelve years. That last part seemed like a hopeless wish, but that's only because she wasn't expecting company. Emily's a girl who likes to dwell in the past when things were pure, lively, childish, just to get away from the rest of her miserable life. Sometimes her depressing yearning creates thoughts of suicide, but thankfully it only leads to tremendous studies that may help her if she goes somewhere in life. Where would that be? Well, Emily happens to be a girl very smart when it comes to conspiracy theories, and has lots of research and evidence about several things. She just refuses to share them with anybody until the time is right. So that's another thing, Emily is very secretive, and is good at keeping secrets considering her silence. Emily can speak, though. You just have to threaten and scare her out of her skin and more, and then she'll talk. The only problem is that's exceptionally difficult because she's seen more than anyone can imagine.
Appearance: Uh... This 'un, with paler skin and dark green eyes, and is often wearing MUCH different clothes and probably isn't smiling so truly. (I couldn't find the picture I wanted. T.T)

After having knocked on the door three times, I sat on the edge of the stairs with my hands wrapped around my knees. The cool breeze lightly brushed against my arms, creating small goosebumps that I simply ignored. Pain and cold was but a feeling, and feelings could be pushed away if you convinced yourself they didn't exist. Such a discipline was essential when you always had that blood lust pressing on your mind, begging you to rip apart every living being in sight. I bit down my tongue as soon as the images of warm, rich blood flooded into my mind. I sincerely hoped I could control myself around my host.

She nodded wisely. “Yes, of course,” And with that, the maid exited the room without a backward glance. Nightmare cranned her neck to see Irène's face. “And you,” She said in a shuddering voice, her gaze meeting the cat’s. She paused for a beat as she bored into it’s eyes. “Be nice to the stranger.”

I was momentarily distracted by a rapid knocking in the distance. Although I wondered who it is, I reminded myself that the focus here was to make a good impression. But being around these people... I could practically see the blood rushing through their veins, I could imagine myself tearing away the flesh and slurping down the buttery scarlet. I knew it was stupid to go without blood for so long. Sometimes heroine could substitute for the cravings, but it just wasn't good enough; it made me so weak...

I eyed the cat suspiciously as I silently waited for Irène to lead me to the guest rooms. I wondered what other interns would be joining me in this mansion. Part of me wanted a select few so that I could control my urges, but if there were more... Then that would be just more for me to kill. More for me to feed on, more blood for me to indulge in. The mere thought of it made my mouth water in anticipation.

I eyed the cat suspiciously as I silently waited for Irène to lead me to the guest rooms. I wondered what other interns would be joining me in this mansion. Part of me wanted a select few so that I could control my urges, but if there were more... Then that would be just more for me to kill. More for me to feed on, more blood for me to indulge in.
