Kit;
A kit is named after it’s parent(s). Examples; Lostkit, Lovekit, Poppykit, etc. It is a word, then kit. Kits will grow to become apprentices.
( DEN- The Nursery)

Apprentice;
Apprentices are the next step for a kit. They receive mentors (will be taught about later on in the the thread). Apprentices change their names from ____kit to ____paw. There is a special ceremony for Apprentices. There is also a Medicine Cat Apprentice. They have the mentor of a medicine cat (will be taught about later in the thread).

Warriors;
Warriors are the next step for an apprentice. An apprentice would previously have, for example, Poppypaw. A warrior has a different format. They will keep their first name (Example;POPPY) and make it Poppy____. A name for that could be Poppyreed, Poppyleaf, Poppypelt, etc.

Elders;
An elder is a retired leader, deputy, or warrior. They stay in the elders den and are treated with respect.

Leaders;
Unless the deputy is dead and the leader is dead, the leader must have been a deputy before becoming a leader. If the deputy and leader are both dead, the clan will choose the new leader and the leader will choose the new deputy. A leader has their first name (Example, Lovekit, Lovepaw, Lovedapple,) and then star at the end. Example; Lovestar. To become leader you have to be chosen by Starclan, go to the moonstone, and receive nine lives from starclan. The ceremony is secret. A leader leads it’s clan.
(DEN- a special den made just for them. May choose location, must be in clans boundries.)


Queens;
Queens are she-cats having kits.

( DEN- The Nursery or Medicine Cat Den.)

Medicine Cats;
Medicine cats are previously apprentices (a medicine cat apprentice). They learn how to heal and how to contact Starclan. They go to the moonstone once every moon (month) and speak to Starclan. They can walk in Starclan while dreaming. They receive names exactly how warriors do, except for they receive it from their mentor. A medicine cat apprentice will not become a confirmed medicine cat until the confirmed medicine cat dies.


Starclan-
A group of dead cats living in silverpelt. (the stars.)

Clans;
A group of cats that work together and are united.

Genders;
Girls are She-cats. Boys are toms.
