I snapped. I seized Twister - I couldn't believe Ratpelt had had the nerve to name him that, when she'd killed our brother in the first place - and held my claws to his throat. "Tell me, or I'll kill him, and then you."

(Yes, I just got it. Thanks =] WOW you have a big goal. Mine is only 20k but because of homework this week and next week and finally END OF SCHOOL but then I have Tae Kwon Do almost daily throughout the summer. If I get to 50k, however, I will be so very happy =] )

"Dust..." I said softly, watching the tiny tom-kit writhe under her paw, and the larger she-kit wailing in front of her. "Maybe this isn't the best idea."
My sister's locked on me, teeth bared in the beginnings of a snarl. "Don't tell me you're going soft too."
"Of course not!" I exclaimed quickly. "Just... well... She's making an awful lot of noise. They have to be looking for them by now."
"Good," Dust snapped. "Then we can kill them."
Twister cried harder.

I glanced around, counting the kits to make sure they were all there. I paused, a hint of panic rising in my chest, and counted them again.
