Stone padded up to Ratpelt, and rested his muzzle on her neck with a purr. "I'm so sorry. Please don't leave me. I love you." His voice cracked, still kind of hurt from when she said she should have never met him. But he licked her with affection.

I was crying too hard to reply but pressed myself close to him, unable to stem the flow of tears. Until a horribly familiar voice spoke from the other side of Stone.
"Aww, how sweet," I heard Claw sneer, and I knew we were dead.

Stone whipped around with a low growl. "Go Away" he said simply, as he crouched down, ready to pounce.

Claw's lip curled up in a silent snarl at him, and then suddenly he had darted around him and barreled into me, knocking me to the ground. Catching me off guard, he had me pinned under his much larger bulk in seconds, his teeth at my throat. I wriggled desperately, trying to get free, but the unnaturally long, sharp claws he'd been named for found the barely-healed wound Dust had left in my shoulder and my breath caught in my throat as the sharp tips threatened to dig into the injury again. "One step closer and she dies," he growled at Stone.

Stone growled, knowing what he must do. Claw wouldn't expect him to do this, so he did. He jumped, Straight for his throat. Before he knew it, Stone was on top of Claw, his teeth buried so deep in his throat you couldn't even see his muzzle.

The combined weight of the two toms quickly knocked all the air from my lungs and I struggled to breathe as well as get out from under them and help. "Stone," I choked out.

Stone heard Ratpelt sturggle, and he rolled off her, pulling Claw with him. He dug his teeth deeper, and flicked his neck to the side, breaking his neck.

I staggered to my paws, gasping for breath, just in time to see Claw's eyes fix on me, brimming with hatred as the light slowly faded from them, and then he was gone.

Stone stood up, then ran to Ratpelt. "One less littermate to worry about. Now how is your shoulder?" He said casually.

I turned my panicked, frightened gaze on Stone. "They'll never leave us alone now," I whispered, not even hearing his question. "Not until we're dead or they are. It's not a game anymore."

Stone supported her all the way back into the tree and on the healing branch. He rubbed more of the special leaf on her shoulder, but had trouble meeting her eyes. He was deeply ashamed.

I slumped against him, wishing this day had never happened. I was still hurting from Stone's harsh words, and the sound of Claw's neck snapping echoed over and over in my ears. He had wanted to kill me, yes, but he was my brother. And now Dust and Ice would never, ever leave us alone.

Stone opened his eyes to realize they had fallen asleep. He stood and stretched before hunting down three rabbits and setting them in front of Ratpelt.

"Ratpelt wake up" Stone whispered, knowing what she was dreaming about already.

(Maybe once she realizes she is pregnant they can figure out names. We need to decide how many they will have though)

"Twister!" I gasped, jerking upright as my eyes snapped open. For a few horrible seconds I didn't know where I was or what was happening, and then I remembered and I slumped back down, squeezing my eyes shut again. "Stone," I whispered, trembling.

"It's okay" Stone whispered, rubbing his muzzle along her pelt. "They are not here." As he trailed his muzzle along her stomach, he realized something. "Um..Ratpelt. Why is your...It's..." He took a step back, looking at her round stomach. Hardly round at all, but enough for him to notice.

"I don't feel good," I moaned suddenly, scrambling down from the tree and stumbling over to the bushes to retch several times.
