Stuck.

I started this story awhile ago, and I got so excited cuz it was AWESOME, and I just kept typing away....then I realized I had nowhere to go. Ho hum. I had all my characters figured out, all my significant events....but I have no plot to tie them together.

Anyhoozle, it's a story based loosely on Night terrors, the Dream Cycle and Lucid Dreams. (If you don't know what any of those are, feel free to ask...or Google it. Google knows everything.) I've been trying to tie some real-life information into the story as well as the fantasy element, so you at least get something out of this lovely story.

The main character is a girl named Skylar who suffers from Night Terrors (although she isn't diagnosed until much later on). Her and her brother Kaden, and their friend JP enter the Dream World (through some magical phenomena I have not decided upon) to try to find the root of Skylar's problem....and that's where it stops. I don't kow what they're doing there, or how they got there, or why they're even staying there.

So, if you've got any lovely ideas to help my rekindle my creative flame, or just any ideas for these guys' plot, post away!

Anyway... I really like your plot so far, and I think that you should do some freewrites or character development to try and re-kindle yourself. :3

Ho hum, perhaps I shall try that....my characters are actually a little boring. They could use some sprucing up whilts I work on the plot.

Ha, its all good. I've spent the past half-hour looking for a Writer's block thread because my poor, abandoned word Document needed some love....xD

Zomg. That's a rather epic story idea. o_O I love stories about dreams, I wrote one myself and *ramble*

*cough* Annnywho. Definitely try freewriting to get your creativity going again. :3 And what I find is awesome for inspiration is just plugging your iPod on and walking (or maybe running in your case) around wherever until something comes to mind.

And as for actual ideas . . . geez. I don't know if I can even come up with anything worth it, because I'm so bad at coming up with things for others' stories. xD And you probably don't want any ideas that I've already used myself, so . . . yeah, I'll just refrain for now.

I generally think of ideas while I'm doing my homework (because I'm so bored) so then I'll write them down and get to them afterwards.
