Hawk puffed his chest out as if he'd said anything at all to be proud of. "Glad to hear it! And maybe I'll be worthy of your heavenly, good-smelling presence after telling you that the fleas didn't get a single paw on me?" He hopefully tilted his head, his mouth splitting into a grin.

Moon glanced at Blossom. "Stay . . . here," he sighed, and scowled at the ground. "But I wanna go help find Rock and Rush! I don't get what they're freaking out about so much, anyway."

"Rock?! Rush?!" Dew called once they got to the waterfall, anxious eyes scanning the area over. She couldn't find a sign of those little kits anywhere. "Nnngh - where are they?!"

Blossom looked solemnly at her littermate. "It's big and scary and dangerous out there! You want to go out there?" She trembled a little at the thought.
Wolf sniffed at the ground. "Here," he called. "I think this is Rock's scent. We can try to track them."
