I looked around nervously, letting go of his hand and walking into the house. With a gulp, I stood near the door and wrapped my arms around my body. I watched as he walked to the fridge and I froze. As he walked out of the kitchen, he toosed me a bottle of red liquid. Blood. I thought, my mouth watering. Unscrewing the lid, I lifted the bottle to my mouth, only wanting to take a sip. But it tasted... Odd. Addicting. Like my own personal drug. Before I knew it, the bottle was empty. "Sorry," I whispered.

Narrowing my eyes, I tossed the bottle into the trash. "Didn't I just fail a test to control my urges or something?" I asked him, twirling a lock of golden curls. With a sigh, I crumpled on the sofa and put my shoes near the door. "Is it true that vampires get weird powers?" I asked.

Once we told me everything, I nodded. "I want to go back to school. I want to be with my friends and walk down the halls like I use to," I sighed, twidling with the seam of my shirt. "What am I going to do? Everyone I know is going to be dead in half a century. I can't be with anyone. I can't have friends, relationships because I'm never going to age." I whined. "Where am I going to live when I had to fled town because I never age?" I asked.
