I walked over to the boy. It was hard to see him because he wore dark clothes.

Amanda's eyes opened in her sleep, and she giggled. "Hi Fang..." She murmured, a dreamy expression on her face. "Hi Amanda." I muttered. Her face fell, and her eyes closed. The fever was spreading fast.

I lifted the girl and put her on the ground, leaning over Amanda. She was syperventilating, and I immediatly pulled her upright. Her blue eyes opened, and she stared at me, her face expressionless. "Fang."And she fell. [Pass out. ]

"She passed out." I muttered, lying her head on my lap. Her fever was raging out of control, and I bit my lip. "Iggy! Wake the others- we need ice. Fast."

"She's sick." I murmured, pushing her bangs out of her eyes. Iggy came back with a bag of ice, and I lied it on her forehead.

I sighed unhappily, moving Kara gently and pulling Amanda upright, but keeping the ice pack on her head. A few minutes later, her blue eyes blinked open. "Fang... I don't feel good at all." She whispered. "I know."

I woke up and started crying. I ran to Sam and sat on her lap, burring my face in her hair.

I jolted upright, only to realise it was Kara who'd jumped on me. "Oh, Sweetheart." I murmered by her ear. "Why's she crying?" I asked.

I shrugged, and Amanda coughed. "Don't know." She was shivering and, knowing she wasn't going to do it willingly, I expanded my wings slightly and wrapped one around her, gently slowing the coldness.

I don't like the dark haired boy. He only cared about the girl. I cradled Kara, trying get her to fallasleep again.

Gazzy awoke, rubbing his eyes with sleepiness. "Hey sweetie." Amanda said hoarsly, gathering him onto her lap. "Why are you awake?" Gazzy yawned. "Not tired."

"What's wrong, honey?" Amanda lifted Gazzy gently, kissing his forehead and crawling over to the other one. "Sweetheart? What happened?"
