My Seasonal Poems.
Well since it's getting near Christmas and the Holidays,
I decided to make some seasonal poems. x]
Cheer!
Colorful presents surround the tree
One especially signed for me
Ribbons and bows outline the gifts
The children aglow didn’t dare make a fit
We open our packages to find cheer
Our minds would be happy all year
The Gift of Giving
Cold snow floats gently down
The gloating man roams through town
He was never nice
And never thought twice
The spirits taught him good
He fought to change his mood
He learned the meaning of giving
So it always kept on living
Lost
I walk the freezing path
The breeze for sure took its wrath
I found an old empty shack
The winter had taken its toll on me
Splinters stuck to the moldy wall
At once I hear the rusty call
Running and tripping on the floor
At last they came
My sled team right at the door
Rush, Rush, Rush
I stumble to get to the store
To fine rubber chickens on the floor
Small dolls and toy cats align the counters
Oh, so many people fall to get to their precious wombats
Electronics the size of microchips get crushed on every step
One person accidently bought someone’s big purple brush
“Hey give me back my brush! It’s on sale!”
“On sale? You’re not getting it back!”
They were surely in a rush
Nothing ever settled down
Until everything was sold out in town
Sprinting to my house I find a plastic mouse
Sitting in my chair I see a soft teddy bear
The catastrophe does not end
Until Christmas it at hand
I decided to make some seasonal poems. x]
