I watched, through my second conscience, a smile playing on my lips, stained by ruby blood. I drew my finger on the blood on the blade and sniffed it.

I dodged and stuck my blade right next to her throat, holding her back tightly, so she wouldn't be able to move without touching the fiery blade. "Watch it." I spat furiously, my eyes following her stance, so I'd know what her next move might be.

I jumped back with a hiss bouncing off the rock wall. Slashing again, I manged to nick her skin, where the sparks immediately began to form a hard shell that would be hard to get rid of.

I touched my throat carefully and healed it. "Tough luck." I sneered and rammed the sword through her. In reality, the sword went through her. It didn't kill her. Just put her into a coma. I dropped my sword and laid her on the ground. Then I stood up, looking defiantly at her brother.

"I didn't kill her, if you're wondering." I replied coldly. "Congratulations. For once, you actually used my name." Calmly, I sheathed my sword, keeping the corner of my eye on him. "Now, if you don't mind. I have some other business to take care of, that hopefully, won't involve you two."

With a drawn-out sigh. I lashed my sword out and began to spar. "Question. Why would I touch her?" I lashed his arm more than I had with his sister. Alright by me.

I winced but continued to fight. She would not get away with hurting my sister.

I suddenly hit the ground, 'unconcious'. He didn't know that. I lay there, breathing shallow, eyes seemingly shut. My sword was still in my hand. It was key if I was going to live to see the next 30 seconds take place.

I woke up, my arm on fire.
I heard Alexis moan. "Alexis!" I ran towards her. "Alexis , come on! We're leaving!"
"No."

((Ooh, my sister has some of their music...I think...xD ))

While he was over her, I got up quietly and slipped silently against the rock wall, so I was hidden in the shadows. I watched, eyes alert at every movement that was possible in the canyon.

"Alex, I'm going to stay. I have to calm Meluu down." I looked at him with such a fearsome glare that he nodded. "Okay."

I began to slip out of the canyon, aware that the twins might come after me at any moment. I hissed and suddenly hit the ground convulsing again. I spat up some blood and lay there panting, eyes trying to desperately stay open. "No..." I whispered, struggling to my feet.

"I have to go." I ran towards Meluu. "Meluu, what's going on here?"

(( Er...like the one on WI? ))

I whirled around, sword pointed at her heart. "Don't move." I hissed, blood leaving a pattern of brownish stains on my face. I wiped part of the mess away with a grungy palm and rubbed it somewhat less dirty on my cloak.

((There's one here too. ))


"Meluu, please. You know me. Take control." I stared deep into her eyes.

((Alright. (: ))

I looked back at her, no emotion ever crossing my face. My eyes remained pupil-less and all iris. I fell to the ground again, coughing up more blood and phlegm.

"Meluu, remember yourself. This isn't the real you. Calm down."

I ignored her. What did she know? I lay on the ground and rolled over so I could see the crack of sky visible between the canyon walls. I breathed shallowly. I closed my eyes half-way keeping a firm grip on the hilt of my sword.

"Meluu?" I didn't know who she was right now, the real her or the demented her.
