Stuttered Thoughts

Are you washing your face in my
stolen innocence or merely gloating over
your trove of snatched treasures?
[your lovely dragon hoard]

It's funny how beauty stole beauty and
dumped it somewhere in the midst
of our horribly polluted oceans.
[give me the beginning again]

Is this a victory for you, to snatch
the tongue from my mouth and tack it
to your wall as a trophy?
[you told me I was wonderful]

When your touch made my heart skip a beat,
not in admiration but in fear,
and my thoughts stuttered and froze
while the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, I thought
this is too much.
[do you know what you took from me?]

Guess what?

I looooove it! This one in particular stood out to me, because of the little bit where you said 'dragon.' x3
