The Guards

I smiled and took his hand, even though I didn't really need it, and went out into the car. I slid into the back middle seat, so that I could sit beside Micheal and Jay, if he wanted to sit beside me. If he wanted to sit in the front seat, though, that would be fine with me.

I slid my hand under his. I felt exited but also nervous. How would this turn out? [If you want to know and prepare for the plot twist coming ahead, clicky the neat little spoiler.

[timeskip a litttle la dee da..] We soon pulled up to the hospital parking lot. I opened the door to the car and jumped out, waiting for Micheal and Jonathan.

[brb got to eat dinner, gonna be fast though]

[back, my mom didn't make my food yet. >:O]

I smiled at him and went inside with my mom. One of the nurses led us into a back room, and another nurse was standing in there in front of, what I guessed would be the ultrasound screen. I nervously sat on the cot they had prepared, looking up at Jonathan trustingly.

I squeezed his hand only slightly, and I laid down on the cot. The nurse came and pulled up my shirt, not too far thankfully, and rubbed the cold stuff on my stomach. Goose bumps ran up my arms and I bit my lip nervously.

I nodded as she took the little thingy (if you know the name, please tell me) and rubbed it across my stomach. An image soon came to the screen, and her eyes widened. "There are two.." she said.

I looked up at him and smiled. Micheal passed out. "A boy and a girl," the nurse continued.

After a while, the stuff on my stomach dried, and I sat up, smoothing my shirt down. I gave Jonathan a hug. "We're gonna have two kids now..."

We soon returned home, and I went upstairs and flopped, face down on the bed. I was tired.

"You okay?"

"Just tired," I told him.

"Oh." He said.

I looked over at him and sighed. "Jonathan, will you go see if we have any bacon?"

He went to check. "Nope."

"Dangit. Can you see if Megan will go get some?"
