Re: The Guards
Johnathan waited for the inevitable question: Boy or girl? He was actually wondering himself, when he thought about it.
Re: The Guards
Megan looked at both of us, then nodded. "Alright, I figured you would say that." she handed me something. "Since I won't be paying for anything, I'm giving you this." I looked at it and almost passed out. It was 500 dollars, in cash.
Re: The Guards
Johnathan made sure Liz didn't fall over, holding her shoulders firmly. "Thanks, Megan."
Colin gaped at the money like an idiot, his jaw hanging completely open.

Re: The Guards
"You're welcome." Then she turned and headed into her room, probably to do some computer work or something. I looked at Jonathan, my eyes wide. "Five hundred..." I mumbled.
Re: The Guards
He sighed. "I'll have to get a pretty good, paying job for us to support the baby." He picked up a newspaper and started looking at the Classifieds.
Re: The Guards
"Jonathan, I have 170 dollars saved up from my previous babysitting career, 100 from my dogwalking job, 200 from cat training, and now 500 from Megan. That already gives us 970 dollars." I told him reassuringly. [THANK GOD FOR ONLINE CALCULATOR.]
Re: The Guards
(xD Niice, Seot.)
"Yes, but we'll have to buy clothes, food, and constant diapers." He argued.
Re: The Guards
"You're right," I told him. I then sighed. "You might be able to take over my cat training and dogwalking jobs. Cat training pays 15 an hour and dogwalking pays 20."
Re: The Guards
"You? Cat training?" I burst out laughing. "You don't know one thing about how hard it is to train a cat! It'd be harder than training you!"
Re: The Guards
"Sorry, its just, training a cat takes a harder, more persistent and firmer hand than training a dog. Without the proper backup, a cat won't learn anything."
Re: The Guards
I sighed, knowing I didn't mean to upset him, but knowing that my words would probably fall on deaf ears. [wanna timeskip a little bit to after the first day of school?]
Re: The Guards
(Sure.)
Johnathan returned the last cat to its owner and rushed to Liz's house. He hoped she was doing okay. No pains, or anything.
Re: The Guards
I watched him rush in. "Jonathan, I'm fine," I told him. "Anyway, Mom's taking us to the hospital later today."
Re: The Guards
"I know!" I smiled. "That's been bothering me for a while..." I told him, then looked down at the notebook in my lap. I had gone through a large list of baby names, then finally decided on Valor if it was a boy and Rosibell if it were a girl.
Re: The Guards
"Rosibell is nice." He noted, looking at the notebook as well. "But if she looks like something else, that will be her name."
Re: The Guards
I nodded. "Her first name should be Karalynne though, if its a girl that is. That's a family tradition, I didn't start it, I'm just supposed to uphold it." I met his eyes. "No matter what gender, we'll still love it."
Re: The Guards
"You really think so?" I asked. Suddenly, Micheal opened the door. "Mom's home, c'mon!" he shouted, darting back out the door.
