Kathy sat on the front porch of her house, playing with a Rubik's Cube. She was confused & it took her mind off things.

Jesse started drawing. He was good at it, but always drew random things with almost no meaning to him.

Kathy looked up. She saw a light rain began to fall. But she didn't mind, so she just sat there, still trying to solve the Rubik's Cube.

Jesse's thoughts kept running through his head. He ddin't want Kathy to have almost said, 'I wish I was a vampire'.

The rain kept falling heavier, she sighed. It was kinda cold now. Ahh, but that didn't matter. she thought & shrugged it off. She only had to solve the blue & yellow sides now.

Jesse looked outside and saw the rain. His mom was gone for another few months, so, he was alone now, for a while. A long while.

Kathy was bored, so not wanting to be alone, she began walking by the sidewalk. She tried to solve the Rubik's cube while walking, not caring about getting wet.

Jesse went up to the widow's walk, because of it being so high up, and sat in the rain, feet up on the railing, him sitting on a chair like thing.

Jesse saw people scurrying by, and he knew it was cold by then, by the way they huddled, and walked. He smiled, not cold at all. He was already that way.

(LOL! Me either... And I knew this kid who could solve one in a 1min. 30sec.)
(Yeah... And then Jesse finally think it through, and says, "Maybe..." or like excepts it... And somehow after he'll turn her. Obviously by biting her, but, yeah... Idk... And what happens after that...?)

Jesse sat there, looking up at the sky. Soon the rain lightened, and started moving the clouds away. Then he saw the moon. It was a blood moon. Bright red. "Oh crap... That means death for whoever sees it, and since I'm... dead..." he bit his lip, "Kathy... Crap. I can't do anything, either..." he didn't want her getting hurt, for some reason. He'd never relaly cared, or looked out for a human before.

Kathy began walking towards home after the rain lightened. She was so wet. My hair looks terrible. Aha. she thought. Then sat on the front porch waiting till she got a bit dry so she could go take a shower. While that, she started looking at the sky. The moon was looking a bit red. She tilted her head, giving it a small weird look then shrugged. & kept looking at the stars.
