RACE AGAINST MACHINES (JUNE TWENTY FOURTH TWO THOUSAND TEN) --- Summer Days
Summer is finally here. (No more glitchy thread?)
Summer Light -Thru the Trees
Summer Light - Spotted Me
Summer Light - Palest Gold
Summer Light - Bright and Bold
I Saw Summer Light Descend
Summer Light, Made Shadows Bend
Summer Light, On An Emerald Pond
I Reached Out… It Touched My Palm
Summer Light, It Fell Like Powder
Or a Floating Incandescent Feather
Came Down, Like A Sheer, White Swan
Summer Light – Lifted Wing-Like Arms
So Sunrays Slanted – Shone-Misty
Summer Light-Beams, Embraced Me
Warm, Wonderful Summer Light
Touch Me Tender, Solar- Might
Summer Light, When I Was Lost
Summer Light, Found Me Before Frost
Summer Light - None Else Looked For Me…
Summer Light Said, “I Always See…”

Questions For Thought 1. What time do you like to wake up over the summer?
2. Have you been to the beach yet?
3. Have you gone swimming yet?
4. What color bathing suit do you have?
RACE AGAINST MACHINES
My name is Akeria. At least, that's what you can call me. I'm an opinionated writer. You don't have to read what I have to say, but take into consideration, you might want to listen. Use your ears, all of your senses as you read my blog posts. More often than not, they're deeper than what they appear.

Poem of The Day
I have a lot of "passages" today. I'd like to re-iterate the first one, because I really didn't talk about it too much because I was distracted by the formatting fail of that blog...
"Your theme is good, as are your sentences. Your characters are so ruddy with life they practically need birth certificates. The plot you've mapped out for them is grand, simple and gripping. You've done your research, gathering the facts; historical, social, climatic, culinary--which will give your story its feel of authenticity. The dialogue zips along, crackling with tension. The descriptions burst with colour, contrast and telling detail. Really, your story can only be great. But it all adds up to nothing. In spite of the obvious, shining promise of it, there comes a moment when you realize that the whisper that has been pestering you all along from the back of your mind is speaking the flat, awful truth: it won't work. An element is missing, that spark that brings to life a real story, regardless of whether the history or the food is right. Your story is emotionally dead, that's the crux of it. The discovery is something soul-destroying, I tell you. It leaves you with an aching hunger." By Yann Martel

What I Really Have To Say Today
It's 9:39 in the morning, and it's officially the first day of summer. Ah! That feels soooooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing. I made it through stupid sophomore year. But basically, I'm here to tell you that I won't be blogging much over the summer. See, I'm a busy person, and blogging here isn't that high on the priority list. Instead, I'll be doing a "Daily Blog" from my blog. I'll post a link in the new "Link Section" down below the questions.
You can read everything for me this summer over there.

1. What time do you like to wake up over the summer?
Whenever I get out of bed...Which is usually around 9:00.
2. Have you been to the beach yet?
Um...well, see....my school is at the beach...so, um, technically....
3. Have you gone swimming yet?
Si, senorita.
4. What color bathing suit do you have?
I have three; a white one with multi-coloured polka dots, a green striped one and a pinkish-coral one.

1. It depends really. Sometimes I stay up till 5:55 AM [like last night] and I want to sleep till 2 [I know that's horrible]. Usually I wake up at 9:15-9:30 though.
2. Yup. (:
3. Yes.
4. A really pretty light sky blue.

I love that poem. <3
1. What time do you like to wake up over the summer? If I'm feeling lazy and I was up late on Twig, probably around 10, but sometimes I'll wake up at 6 to go for a run or something when it's not blazing hot outside and the bugs aren't out. XD
2. Have you been to the beach yet?
3. Have you gone swimming yet? Yup!
4. What color bathing suit do you have? Navy and white and two light blue and white ones.
