Jay smiled and licked his cheek.

"Thanks. How about yours?" Libby stroked the puppy, looking at Liz.

Thomas looked at all of them. "I bet they'll all get great owners."

"She's at the mother's house. I can't get her until she's old enough."

"Hopefully," Jay sighed.

"Oh," Libby said. "Say, would you like a puppy? We're giving them all away."

"Oh, sure!" I said. "I'd love one!"

"Yeah. I think Liz is gonna get one," Thomas said, overhearing Liz and Libby.

"Great," Jay smiled.

"They're over here, if you want to look." She led Liz to the puppies. There was a black and white one, a grey and white one, another tan and white one, and a completely white one.

"Aww," I fawned over the puppies. "They're just so cute, I'd take all of them if I had room." I chuckled. "I think I'll take the grey and white one."

Thomas looked at the puppy of her choice.

"Take care of her," Jay said.

Libby smiled. "Alright. What are you going to name her?"

Thomas nodded.

"I was thinking Lupus, for wolf in latin." I reached out to pet her tiny ears.

"Ooh, I like that," Libby said.

Jay watched sadly as her last puppy, Moonbeam, left the house, being carried by her new owner. She looked at Beanbag, the only pup that was staying. Beanbag watched as her sister left.

(Beanbag is the tan&white one. Nickname is Beanie)

I walked inside of the house, carrying my Siberian puppy Lupus, and the pit bull puppy I had decided to name Dapple. I put them down in front of Thomas.

Thomas looked at the puppies and sniffed them, licking both of them.

Libby thanked the new owner of Moonbeam, waving and smiling, then closed the door, sighing. She looked at Beanbag and Jay.

I decided to take the pups and Thomas over to visit Jay and Libby.

Jay jumped up on the couch and watched Moonbeam leave.

Beanbag tried to hop up as well, but she was too little, and just fell over.

I knocked at the door. Thomas stayed at my ankles and the puppies tugged prematurely on their leashes and harnesses.

Libby opened the door. "Hi!" she said, smiling.

Beanbag barked, looking wide-eyed at the puppy who seemed to look like her...

I let the puppies in and let them off the leash. Lupus and Dapple ran over to Beanbag to inspect her, yipping and sniffing.

Thomas padded over to Jay. "Hi," he woofed.

"Hello again," Jay smiled brightly.

Beanbag blinked, whimpering slightly, wondering what these small things were that looked like her clone was.

Lupus recognized Beanbag from her litter and started to play with her.

"How are you?" Thomas asked.
