Matt jumps up and yells, "Ma, she's awake!"
I looked down and saw that I had at least 3 layers of blankets on me, and I was still shivering.
A cheerful woman walks toward me with a thermometer. "Hello, honey. I thought you'd never wake up! What happened?"
I felt numb everywhere. I blinked my eyes and comfort washed through me. I relaxed my jaw and felt happiness. How long had I been asleep? I stammered, "L..l...luke l...l..left."
Matt glanced at the woman above him. "Ma, can you please leave?"
"Sure, Matthew."
"Maggie, he left you because of his rep."
"His what?"
"His rep. As in, popularity."
I frowned. "What?"
"Maybe your brain is frozen. You are unpopular. Luke is popular. Him dating you equals Luke becoming unpopular, and he wants to be popular."
"I hate him!" I whispered. My voice wouldn't come out any louder.
"Are you sure about that?"
"What? Of course I am."
Matt grinned devilishly. "Do you want to see him angry?"
Not really, I thought. "Possibly."
"Follow my lead." He dialed Luke's phone number and told him to come over. "Luke should be here in about 5 minutes, so just"-
"I thought you were his friend! Why are you doing this?"
"We pull pranks on eachother all the time. It's not big deal. So, right now rest your head on my shoulder, and act as if you like me."
That wasn't hard to do.
Right before Luke opened the door, Matt got closer to me and kissed me.

OMG! That's an awesomeful chapter! I can't wait to see Luke's reaction.

I didn't really pull pranks on Luke a lot. Actually, I don't think I ever have done it. I was just so aggravated that Luke was being such a jerk, and he had been like that for awhile.
If Luke thought dating Maggie would ruin his reputation, I don't want to know what will happen to mine after today.
I shouldn't be worrying though; I'm having the time of my life. I liked Maggie. She really knew me, and understood me.
"Matt!" Luke growled. "What are you doing?"
I caught my breath and said, "Well, you don't care about her."
"That's not true."
"You only care about your social life," Maggie whispered.
"Maggie," Luke said.
Maggie grumbled, "I don't want to hear it. Matt, take me home."
I took the blankets away from Maggie and led her out the door while Luke stared in shock. As I passed by Luke, he grabbed my arm and whispered, "You'll regret this."

Uh oh... what's Luke gonna do?

But that doesn't tell us annnnything!!! XP *whines* You gotta post more!
